Just signed paperwork on a 25 Plat with TRD OffRoad. Should be here in 10 days. Truck is for my son and will never see any offroad other than fire roads. It will tow occasionally a side by side and light snowmobile trailer. Possibly our boat if one of my trucks is at the cabin or something but we have 3/4 ton for heavy towing. I have owned many lifted 3/4 ton diesels but this is my first Toyota. I have read a lot and seen a lot of suspension discourse but it seems there is a lot of disagreement. This truck is on a lease and will go back in 36 months so I want to keep it simple and cheap. I have lifted leases many times so I am fine with that. It will be used less than 10k pr yr. I am looking for the best 3-3.5" lift for ride quality to run 35x11.5 falken at4s on aftermarket wheels. I have had everything from ultra cheap to Icon on my 3/4 ton trucks. I know a little from reading and talking to a couple of installers. I was originally planning pucks front and rear and maybe UCAs but I am getting different opinions on this truck because of the TRD offroad package. All I really care about is ride quality and looks since its for my son. My son is 17 and got a full ride to college so he is getting a nice truck upgrading from a Titan. A shop I have used before said their customers are loving the RC 3.5 kit with the M1 front and rear for on road only but I know the guys here say RC is junk. I know its not Icon or Cognito but this is a 17yr old kid going to college and I just want it to look and ride great. I know there are some experts here but I cannot seem to find a consensus for a plat/trd? Thank you for your help.

It isn't the height you are looking for but if you want cheap and good quality, I would personally recommend Cornfed Suspension for a spacer kit. They have front and rear spacers at different height levels that work with the offroad suspension. Cheap and effective and it won't change the ride quality like a full kit will. And you will have no problem fitting 35s on the Tundra with far less lift than 3-3.5".

As far as a full lift in the 3-3.5" range, the TRD lift seems to be a good option (not exactly cheap) but I'm sure others will chime in

Lucky kid. I got $500 to put towards a Chevy Chevette Scooter
But seriously that TRD lift looks nice. Sounds like money isn't really an issue so that's the way I would go.

I was originally planning the Cornfed but I think I want a little higher look. Just to be clear if I do the cornfed front and rear I need nothing else and the ride quality is only minimally effected right? Yes he is very lucky but he is a 4.0 GPA student athlete and his scholarship is worth 3x the cost of this truck so I made out way ahead. He works harder than any kid I have ever seen and has a legit shot to play beyond college.

Correct, install the spacers and get a good alignment done and you are good to go
