I am trying to come up with more exterior mods I should do that would blend with the rest of the black I’ve added to it thus far.

Tell me what you guys think

    Nice looking truck.

Purely for deco? Useful in what scenario?

Maybe some ditch lights next, or a bumper for offroading if you do that often enough to make that worth it.
Maybe color matched front handles or an under gate light strip from a deco perspective?

Really depends on what sort of mods you find worthwhile. This site will have more than you are willing to spend, ready for you to grab in many of the 2.5 build threads.

Are you talking about side window visors? They are on there now.

Have one on the pile, but not using the cheap ugly stick on light strip that is included. Drilling holes and inserting small round lights instead. Basically using the plastic as a mounting surface vs. the truck roof. Easy to reverse and remove the whole thing if I don't like the daytime aesthetics of it.

I found mine on Etsy. Should come up with a simple tundra emblem blackout matte black search on Etsy

I’ve been thinking about getting the bug deflector you’ve got but I’m unsure if it will take away from the matte black hood decal I have on. What ya think?

I definitely have been thinking about ditch lights. Thinking maybe the amber would match my hood bulge light? Not too sure but really want new TRD pro headlights just so expensive

    This. All day.

OEM LEDs look great and are fantastic output as well. You can get the TRD Off Road to have them black as well, if it's a different part number than the apro ones.

Get it, protect that hood paint and glass as much as possible. I'm sorta looking for body side moulding as well. Just haven't had time to mess with the truck much.

For sure that has been my plan to buy for my next big purchase but with shipping it’s close to $900. I really want them just haven’t had the means to pay that much for the LED’s. The trd pro come in a black bevel and I really like them. Do the off road come in a darker housing? I’m going to look at buying some used ones since I can’t fork over that much money at the moment

The Off Road are black as well. I think the limited or platinum LEDs have the chrome/silver housing.

Nothing wrong with taking your time, your truck looks great as is. I'm basically waiting until my factory units are a bit more tired from the both usage and the elements.

Nice truck...you're definitely off to a good start! The dark LED OEM headlights would definitely look great against the white when you're ready. Huge improvement in visibility too.
I see you have a light bar behind the grille. I wanted to do that as well but was concerned the grille would block too much of the light output. What's your experience? Does it still throw sufficient light? Any 'odd' patterns?

I like your truck. If you want more light output. A light bar in the front bumper would work. I got a reasonably priced one from Rough Country for my 2014. And of course ditch lights.

Here’s two pictures of the light output from my truck. The night picture is when it’s just starting to get light. But still dark enough with some fog to give you an idea of the output of the bumper light. For the price, it sure puts out a lot of light . IMG_6952.jpg
