    Hey everyone!

I bought this truck the first of the year and have loved it so far! It has 240k miles and is running strong. The truck has almost factory everything, so I was excited to change some of that. It is a bit rusty since it lived the last 200k of its life on the East Coast, but it could be way worse.

The first thing I am doing to it is the suspension, wheels, and tires! IMO, this will give it the appeal that I want to like the way it looks. I went with the tried and true Bilstein 6112/5160 combo for shocks. I set the front at the top clip setting to get the most height, as I will need it when my front bumper and winch arrive. I went with the Icon RXT leaf packs for the rear lift and set it at option 1 for the lowest lift with no weight in the bed. I went with the Icon RXT because I can add the included leaf to support the weight I'll have in the bed later.

Since it was so rusty, a few bolts broke off, but nothing we didn't have to replace. The tie rods were tight, so we had to whip out the torch to align the truck.

For wheels, I went with my all-time favorite brand, RRW. I went with the RR6-H model in a 17x8.5 with a zero offset. I like the -H wheels because they accept a protection ring or beadlock ring; I opted for the aluminum protection rings in black with black bolts. I am not a fan of wheels with fake rings, so I like the fact that the ring is replaceable on this wheel. For tires, I had an old set of Toyo MT in a 35x12.5x17 off my 2024 Tacoma, so I threw those on.

Overall, I love the way the truck turned out. We have much more planned for it, so I hope you follow along!

I appreciate it! I have plans for carpeting the bed for a camper setup and a few other things I'll get from RT.
