First post. Just switched from a Silverado (transmission crapped out) to a 2019 Tundra in Cavalry Blue. I know there are a lot of posts that I've come across regarding horns not working with the root cause typically being a faulty clockspring.

Everything was working fine until I installed the AJT steering wheel blackout trim. The install seemingly went smooth but then I realized this morning my horn didn't work when some ding-a-ling cut me off on the highway.

Perhaps something got messed up on the install of those trim pieces. I gently set the airbag on top of the steering wheel. Maybe I overtightened the torx screws when re-securing the airbag to the wheel. Who knows. Any insight would be appreciated. The 2019 - 2021 OEM clocksprings I'm looking at are over $400.

    Thanks fellas.

Unhook the battery. Remove the airbag. Check the single ground wire connected to the airbag. Probably came loose.

This. The single wire is disconnected. It’s a female disconnect. Squeeze it tighter with a pliers before slipping back on it’s probably a loose fit over the male. Mine was too.
