Hello, I recently purchased a 2020 SR5 that has an aftermarket grill on it and I'm looking to switch it to a more standard TRD pro version. I would have liked to go back to the original but between the grill and the emblem it's a lot more money.

I want one that has a mounting spot for the ACC sensor since the previous owner just zip tied it to the horn up there and I want to get that working again ASAP. I thought the mounting position was bottom center, but my wiring harness only goes to the top left corner so I want to make sure I get the right one.

I'm wondering if anyone has the dimensions of the insert and how it attaches so I'll know if I can just buy the insert or if I'll need to buy all the surround supports as well. With dimensions and possibly pictures of the inside I should be able to tell.

    Thanks!

So I found what I believe is the same grille that is on it on Amazon and it looks like it came with a grille surround, but I'm not sure if it's the same dimensions and attachment style as the factory, or if they even used it.

Here is a link to it on Amazon, unfortunately they don't have a picture of the back to show the connections, but I suppose I could try and look up a factory one and see if it looks the same.

Hard to know unless you pull it off. Get the trd pro style grille and try to put it together..

After doing a little more research it looks like it is an aftermarket surround because there is no access panel on the top. But now I just need to find one that will have the right spot to mount the sensor as it looks like my harness will not reach the bottom center.

I've seen others that pulled that grill and put it in their chrome surround, so I would think you'd be able to put a stock grill insert in.

Ahh man I just bought a new grille and surround online too lol.

But thanks for the info, I'm okay with it just because it will give me the access panel in the top now at least.

    Alot of them
The surround itself is definitely not stock. I can tell by the way it sits with the headlight panels. There are plenty of OEM takeoff grilles that are sitting around or for sale.

I've been trying to de chrome on a wife approved budget. Debated whether its better to do a cheap grill insert now in my chrome surround, or hold out for a painted surround trd pro.

Well if you pay for shipping and like, $50 you can have this one once I get my replacement in there. But just a warning, the insert does not have a spot to mount the adaptive cruise control sensor on it that I could find.
