285/70/17 load range C. BFG K Bro 3. Same size and load range as the 6 year old KO2's. Supposedly addressed and improved the negatives from the KO2. Different lug shape, more siping on each lug to improve wet traction.

$1,426 OTD. Brutal. Discount Tire had me out the door in 40 minutes, without an appointment.

First impression, so much quieter. I knew my old tires had gotten loud but wow.

@shifty` I forgot to add. The main reason I bought this tire is weight. I wanted to keep the same size and it's the lightest tire in this size and load range. I wanted to try Wildpeaks but they are 14% heavier.

The only other option around the same weight is the Toyo Open Country.

I'm happy with this size for now. Any bigger and I have to start cutting and would definitely need to re-gear. I've got too many other big expenses coming up to start pouring money in my 23 year old truck.

Are your windows down too? Just get a tarp and a bunch of small rope or those stretchy cords with hooks on both ends. LOL

My tarp is holding fast, I guess I got the knots right enough.

Oh hell, I didn't factor that in. All I know is I came in to warm the paws once, and there was a bite in the air.

When I just got my tires, weight was a big factor. The Open Countrys are so light, its wild. I thought about the 285/70/17s, but I didn't want to spend money on spacers. The E-rated ride is something I'm getting used to, but no ragrets.
