I love biblical archeology. This reminds me of the silver scrolls found in Jerusalem near the City of David. https://youtu.be/X74dr58e6T8?si=Bu79SbYsCCnQLdBK

Romans were hard up on Christians from the 1st up until the 3rd century when Constantine made Christianity the National Religion of Rome.

Yeah looks hinged. I have a hinged front window but it doesn't have that handle. You can kind of see the hinge though.

What good is it? Looks like the hinge is at the bottom. Which way does it swing?

The ones I have seen folded down. You can clean the windows. Also you can roll your rear truck window down and have a giant pass through.

What SharkDog said. For me? Serves no purpose other than easier cleaning. It swings down into the bed, away from the back of the cab. Yep, hinge at the bottom. It was a nice surprise for me. I didn't know my topper had it when I bought it. But I don't make much use of it.

When I was younger I drove across the country a few times and slept at rest stops now and then. It was convenient, if the area was sketchy, to crawl from the back, into the cab and drive away in the morning without going outside. Could come in handy in bear county, too. That was with a regular sliding window, so it was a tighter squeeze. Having the whole window fold down gives you a lot more space. But realistically, the only time I'll ever use mine is for cleaning.

Heck yeah. Leer 100R is the best for our trucks. Granted, I'm biased, but ...

And $150? Holy crap. That barely covers the Thule rack. Make sure the rack is sealed properly up top.

Old model Leer too, likely won't be able to find glass for it.
