Had a 2023 SR on a lease, about to return it. Loved the truck, worked for me in the beginning. Now updated to 2023 Limited, with air suspension. 2 days after owning it realizing that it drives a lot different that the SR. The ride is much stiffer, almost feels like the tires are over pumped. Checked the PSI and its 35 at cold temp in the morning, so its not the PSI, its the same Yakohama tires on 20 inch wheels i have on the SR, so i dont think its the tires either. The back of the truck sits a few inches lower than the SR. Which kind of sucks, since I’ll be towing with it, hopefully the air suspension will lift it up once the trailer is hooked up. I also discovered it has the notorious fuel gauge issues. From what i read here theres still no fix for it yet? Just the temp shut off while in drive gear and turn it back on after putting it in park trick. The engine has 15k on it, and is on the list for replacement. I guess my question here is does anyone else notice that the truck sits low in the back and you can feel every bump.

if you have the air suspension it may be out of spec , that was an early TSB, they adjusted up

Did not know that! Will take some pics tomorrow morning. Good to know. Also for some reason they didn’t fix the temporary fix for the fuel line leak. My SR got it, this Toyota dealership that sold me the limited still has it listed as “no remedy”, kinda of weird.

Thanks for the heads up. Climbed underneath and saw that the bump stop was so close to the frame. Followed the TSB tutorial, completely different ride now. What would I do without this forum

Tint and wheels. Decked box in the bed. S and B Cold Air filters under the hood. Shiftpower throttle response controller.
I didn't get airbags on my 2023 Tundra but would like them. I do a little towing. Factory vs aftermarket? Any recommendations on after market? I could also add a train horn if I have an air tank!! :D

forget about factory if you didn’t get them with the truck, way too complicated and expensive to install and integrate

I just moved off of the AVS to a offroad suspension and it is a MUCH more pleasant ride. I hated my AVS.. it was not beneficial at all except for the sport mode (so, now i'll be getting a better sway bar), the TSB was completed, the drop by an inch or so it offered did no favours to me (but i'm tall.. so, maybe, that's why).

It felt, as you pointed out, stiff and rough. I'm enjoying my current ride much more.

what does avs have to do with the airbag rear ?

the AVS on comfort mode is easily the best on road ride
