westcotts design preload kit

I have a new tundra and the dealer put on a westcotts design preload kit for 2.5”-3” lift in the front. They say you don’t need UCA’s. Has anyone got this and did you replace the UCAs for better alignment?

 

Didn't the dealer perform an alignment after they installed it? Is it not within spec? What are you trying to make "better"?

 

My main concern is that I used to have a Tacoma that I did not change the UCA on after a 2” lift and had a lot of trouble with the truck holding the alignment, it could be aligned to spec but would go out of alignment very easily.

 

Not needed. It will align and hold.

 

Yep. If anything else was needed, Westcott would have included it. They can be trusted, dude knows Toyotas.
