Looks like your kids are impervious to cold. Mine are the same way. 40 and windy - shortsleeves is no problem. It's nuts. My hands go numb if its under 60.

Are you trying to install a button in the dash? Your 2005 should have a switch on the turn signal stalk just below your lights switch. Only the 00-02 has the in-dash fog light switch. The correct harness is already there, you just need to swap out the stalk assembly.

    Below is the 03-06 switch

Below is a link to where I installed a 2nd fog lamp switch, thanks to @txagg and just spiced it to my auxbeam lights.

You remember correctly. The Eibach are just re-packaged SPC UCAs.

Yeah, I had a $300 scamazon gift card as well. Couldn't get regular gift card to work though.

Runs like a champ! I think the last time I drove this was when I took the boy to Merus. My daughter took it to Austin and got me about another 1k miles. I'm due for an oil change soon, and it's time to make the parts pile dissappear.

@shifty` the instructions that Crutchfield sent did say that an OEM amp will have to be deleted.

Got her finished up today! Just rattle-canned it black until I figure out a permanent paint solution. Really wanting to do a gray closer to body paint color so it’s not so “black”.
    IMG_8898.jpg

Really happy with how it turned out. It was a LOT of work - I worked on it off and on for 7 days - but I think anyone can do this kit for around $1200 if you buy a cheap welder.

    IMG_8900.jpg

If anyone wants that front bumper/cover/brackets PM me ASAP or it’s getting weldin’-practice’d-on’ed. You pay shipping.

What’s the plan for this one use wise? Just looks cool? Bustin through the brush? Turned out nice, but that’s a lot of bumper!

No idea, started as wanting something that looked cool and grew from there when I found these weld-it-yourself kits. I have been wanting to learn to weld for a while so this was my primary motivation.

I noticed the other day, now Dorman is selling SPC under their name. They sell left and right separately. Why is one 12% more than the other? He’ll if I know but here, $260 and $290 respectively:

    https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rnb-528-313?seid=srese1

    https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rnb-528-314?seid=srese1

RockAuto has them for $227 and $247, respectively. Search for parts 528-314 and 528-313. Which is left and which is right? WHO CARES!? You can pay the same price as I did, only I got mine shipped for around $500 if I recall. Summit gives you free ship.

Anything to help a brother save $$ !!

Wait, how’s you get those for $393 on scAmazon?

That’s intentional. These places sell under one part number or brand name in 3-6 month cycles, then discontinue it. That way when they start breaking after 9-12 months, the item and seller no longer exist, and you can’t get warranty. You’re stuck with more e-Waste, which many people just toss in the landfill. Our country has become the new electronics dumping ground for China and India. Difference is, we pay them to sell us the flea market garbage that’s polluting our soil.

Been trying to drive the wheels off of mine. I think I'm getting worse MPG than I do with the camper on. Sport mode is fun!

Didnt drive the wheels off, unbolted em like an amateur (no impact), but cleaned & regreased the drums. One of em adjusts better than the other, so i’ll even em back out.

That's not the sketchiest jacking job I've ever seen, but it's up there. That's also the first time I've ever seen someone use the hitch as a jack point. Thank God there's jack stands under there.

I usually use the pumpkin as a jack point to get the rear end up...
