Is this cluster of buttons suppose to be lit? Mine are not and it sucks to try and find the mirror retract/extend button at night. I usually forget the mirrors are retracted and try to find the button as I'm driving away. It could just be that I have a burnt out dash light. Just curious. No it is not. Toyota did not manufacture backlighting for the mirror controls for some reason. It has been that way for years.

Thank you! I've tried to memorize it's location by feel but I don't use the button enough to remember it.

At least you have the power fold! I can't tell you how many times I've popped the passenger side mirror outwards to use while camping, then forget to put it back into place and have to pull over to fix it.

I know how you feel. My scion xB has the same PFM switch and it’s difficult to find when it’s dark. My dad’s 2015 prius has an illuminated PM switch, but it doesn’t have the PFM button. Perhaps you could combine the two switches to make one illuminated one?

You might be able to find a different toyota or Scion vehicle that already has an illuminated power mirror switch (most all of those toyota PM switches look the same size to me). Finding an illuminated switch that has the PFM button might be more challenging though. Perhaps one from a toyota JDM vehicle?
