I recently did a Pan drain & refill.
When topping off or getting it to the correct fluid level I let some ATF in a empty dry water bottle then dipped my Clean IMG_20241231_172429772.jpg IMG_20241231_172414455.jpg oil stick to get a better contrast perspective as if it did have a transmission dip stick.
The color imo is not as bad as I imagined it would be.

Dab some on a paper towel. Just looks like oil on the dipstick. Also, what do you do with the truck? Have you owned it the whole time? Ever changed the fluid before?

I bought it with 234k summer of 2023.
I don't haul or tow anything. I drive 24 miles a day 3 days a week plus errands. About 5k miles total in 2024 I work 12 miles from home..... I just did a Pan drain and refill last week & last year when I bought it.
Drive it on the pavement only being it's a 2wd TRD Sport. Once in a full moon I'll punch it.

Looks fine to me. If it's bad, it's gonna be much, much darker.

Looks good to me. Better than what came out of my sequoia with 110k on it (bought at 87k). I’ll go blot some of that out on a napkin and you will be surprised.

Looks brand new for WS fluid, it tends to darken quickly

Indeed it's Valvoline Syn WS amongst other specs.
