Quick easy question...2013 Platinum, has GPS. Is there a way to turn off the GPS so the radio control and stations are always on/showing. I never use the GPS in any of my cars and the Tundra seems to show the GPS map 100% of the time.

I believe it's easy with newer models but I just picked up this Platinum a week ago.

Yes, just push the audio button on the right of the HU. It should stay on that screen and come back to it every time you get in.

and welcome to the best tundra forum.

I have a 2nd gen too and this also drives me nuts. Even when I press audio it stays there for about 10 seconds and then goes back to the gps. I think it might have some address put into it so it's always trying to give me directions there but I haven't figured out how to clear it yet

I can't see what radio station I'm on and could care less about where I'm at on the GPS. Seriously would have considered passing up on this model year based on this fact alone. But back in 2013, GPS units were the cool thing to get I'd guess.

Is there any audio button on the touch screen or is it the audio button on the right side of the touch screen? Sorry, I can't check this out right now as I'm having an aFe Power Magnum Air Flow installed as well as a MACH Force-Xp-3 exhaust system right now.

There's a setting for that. On the left hand side of the head unit is a setup button, push it and select General. Select the auto screen change button, push off, and push save. That will stop it from switching screens on you.

It's a physical button on the right-hand side of the radio, here's a picture of mine.
