Has anyone had any cracking issues with the finish on the Bakflip f1 cover? I've had mine for about 10 months and there are a bunch of small cracks on the panels. I reached out to RealTruck/Bakflip Industries and they responded that it is normal. I wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue. Cracks 2.jpg Cracks.jpg

that is strange I have the F1 as well, I have not seen anything like that on mine but mine is also dirty from weather. Does it stay out in the sun a lot? or do you keep it under a garage.

It looks like sun/ uv damage - isn't the F1 a 5 year warranty. Real Truck should stand behind it.

It spends a little more than half of its time outside and the other in a parking garage. I had (2) F1 covers on my 2012 tundra that did not have this issue, so it seems unusual that this is happening. I believe the warranty states 5 years for structural but I don't recall it mentioning anything about the finish.

I wanted to check in with you about the cracking you're seeing on your tonneau cover. Since you've already been in touch with the manufacturer, I'm curious how things turned out. Feel free to shoot me a PM. If there's anything I can do on my end, I'd be happy to help!

I reached out again to Bakflip to express my dissatisfaction with the cracking, and they agreed to provide a replacement cover. They stated I should receive an email containing the order number soon, but that was a week ago I received that notification. Maybe it takes a minute for it to ship out, but that is the current status.

That's good to hear- I'm glad they're setting you up with a new cover. If you haven't already received an update on shipping, PM me and I can take a closer look at that for you.
