Hey all, new to the forums and see a lot of good things about dirty deeds so looking here for advice on how to possibly keep my carven exhaust but eliminate some in cabin drone at low rpm and maybe get a quieter cold start to piss the neighbors off less in the winter.

I saw the universal resenator pipe but not sure that will work. Also how difficult would it be to fit. I'd love a direct bolt on for the mid pipe maybe that I can do myself but probably wishful thinking. Thanks in advance!

    Welcome from NY.
The resonator that Keith @dirtydeeds will work and take that drone away. Very easy install.

I figured as much. I love the sound the carven makes outside but yeah the drone especially for people in the back seat between 1400 and 2000 rpm is quite obnoxious. I remote started the other day too for the first time during winter months and the first minute was so loud I cant imagine what my neighbors think. Probably ready to file ann hoa complaint lol.

I assume because of the holidays they may not be around the office but I left a voicemail a few days ago and haven't heard back yet.

Unfortunately, I’ve been racing in Vegas with my son all weekend and my phone hasn’t chosen to give me my VM’s yet.

the 24 is a lot more difficult to get rid of the drone on. You’d have to send me your carven exhaust. Our solution would be a weld on solution. Not a bolt on like with our 07-21 tundras.

No worries. That sounds like a good time! I'm not sure I can send it to you. I have the stock exhaust but swapping to then swap back seems tedious. I also thought about putting the stock resenator axle back using the rest of the carven exhaust but I think it would also require some cutting and welding which I cannot do.

The problem is the truck has drone at two different frequencies. The stock resonator will help a little. But a hel
Hoots canister really is the answer. I’d sell that system a get one designed correctly in the first place;)

Haha yeah I guess these forums may be a good place to try to sell the carven for those who want the amazing exterior sound it gets but doesn't mind the drone as much. Let me know when your free for a phone call so we can chat a bit more in detail if you don't mind.
