So true! This forum is very well put together. The ease of use and the settings make it the best! I appreciate the reads, the info, and the knowledge shared. If it wasn’t for the grenading engine issue I’d likely still be driving mine. And I am likely to be back in a tundra someday. My next truck will either be a new Tundra or a GMC 2500/3500, depending on the size of my retirement camper.

Yea- I'm certainly sticking around. I’ll be back in a tundra- although this time will be an access cab long bed. My tundra was amazing but it didn’t really fit my current needs and I got tired of driving it back and fourth between AZ and CO. New truck lives here in AZ with me for now- will buy another tundra to live at CO property.

Okay, that makes sense I guess. All the Raptor owners here trashing the Tundra to make them feel good about buying a Raptor.

Why doesn't Ford use the digital rearview mirror and cameras, why doesn't Ford build an infotainment system worth anything, why doesn't Ford know how to make a pano sunroof with metal rails and tracks instead of cheap plastic bits?

the world may never know but this thread proves that most Tundra owners go back to Ford at some point. I see very few going from Ford to Toyota like I did myself. Maybe but having a truck payment sucks and my truck will be paid off by the end of this year or early next year. I have a 150k mile warranty something no 3rd party will touch on a F150 and if they did then it would be twice as much.

I wish you luck with the F150, I am out again as in I do not care enough about the F150 or this thread to keep bumping it with ridiculous replies. I guess as long as the Ford peps keep this one going then it will be over 300 pages soon.

I wouldn't rule out a Tundra in the future, but I stay on these forums because if Toyota is using a shared platform for other vehicles that still interest me (4Runner + GX550), the issues here may still apply to those vehicles as well.

Yes, your extremely narrow and anecdotal experience is all that there is. This one thread out of THOUSAND on this site happens to have ford owners commenting. It proves everything you were already so sure of. You're so smart.

    Talk about confirmation bias.

What about those of us who never had a Ferd before? How are we "going back to Ford" when it's the first one we ever bought?

Why are you mad that the thread with "Tundra vs F-150 Opinion" in the title has people with Ferds chiming in?

As to the bold part, first, I am glad you recognize that many of your replies here have been ridiculous. Recognizing you have a problem is the first step.

Why is it the newest members that joined with the 3rd gen want to try and run off everyone that doesn't have a 3rd gen? First it was just the 3rd gen section, but now it's getting to where you think people need to leave the forum.

    Just sad.

That was actually one of the things I didn't like about the Tundra. Unless I was missing something, the infotainment could only do one thing at a time which made the big screen feel kind of pointless. I will very often keep two things open at once on my Ford, like Android Auto open to Google Maps on 2/3 and XM on 1/3. Even my older F-150 with the 8" screen could have maps and audio open concurrently, so when I drove the Tundra I was disappointed that it didn't seem possible.

I got my top trim level truck for $75k off MSRP and it tows 100,000 lbs at 200 mph and gets 200 mpg doing it.

No, I paid MSRP. Dealers were still asking $5K over in early 2023 when I bought mine.

Considering I average about 4,500 miles per year, I’ll never see 100k miles.

Not sure if you hybrid Tundra owners notice this or not, but going into my second winter, I can definitely confirm that the mileage difference between warm and cold weather is massive in this truck.

I can reliably average 24-25 MPG all summer. In the winter it's more like 20. It also seems to be more temperature than fuel related. When it was in the single digits earlier this month, I was sitting at 19.5 MPG. We've since had some unseasonably warm days since filling this tank and I'm sitting at 24 MPG.

I'm thinking when it gets really cold, the hybrid battery can't help a whole lot and it's 500 lbs of extra weight. My electric miles do drop off a lot when it's colder. Add that to the typical cold weather drops and it's more than the ~2 MPG difference I've seen in my previous trucks.

I'd wager it's more a combination of winter blend fuel, lower tire pressure, lower air density, and increased idle time.
