We kinda stole it from a local favorite, ours never compares but we stride for deliciousness. It used to be one of our date/anniversary night spots and we knew the bar manager so every time it was our birthday…… if you know what I mean. The original owner got sick and sold off once or maybe twice and then shut down…….. later in the news it came out the latest owner killed, dismembered and burned a young man up in the Phx area over some stupid shit.

Thank you! I’d really like an air fryer, but we would need another counter to collect more shit……

My insight would guess with high accuracy that the coating on the tomatoes is a result from being fried in heaps of oil. But only at @FrenchToasty will be able to verify.

Wtf is an anti griddle?! im actually kinda surprised with myself that I don’t have a sous vide……. That is crossing the bougie hipster line……..

I guess you’d be correct, that lodge hold a good amount of oil, but I’m sure some people have the own options on how deep is deep fried?

Side story; my mentor only wore shorts, they were pretty short…… his main reasoning was a particular incident where he was working on a DEEP fryer(commercial style with a ball valve for a drain in front of it) and some kitchen goon opened the drain while it was hot right into his lap. He said he couldn’t get his pants off fast enough…….

But.... there's a difference between dropping shit in a deep fryer and loading up a cast iron w/oil and frying some shit up

    Just sayin'....

I've heard this side story before, and it has absolutely nothing to do with oil cooking.

The anti-griddle is a kitchen appliance that flash freezes or semi-freezes foods placed on its chilled metal top.

Cool, creamy centers and crunchy surfaces can be created in just seconds with the Sage|PolyScience Anti-Griddle featuring a -20oF / -29oC plate that allows rapid unidirectional freezing.

    The real story is crazy!
Anyways; we don’t have a fancy place we go to anymore, that was our spot, super laid back, old people jazzy type shit with cool local abstract art. As young parents we brought our oldest there with us, and everyone was cool with it(I’m sure some weren’t but fuck them)

This is where our Canadian friends can confirm that the anti-griddle operates nearly at that magical temperature where C = F....

Well, not quite that low, but pretty close

    Science people!!!! :D

    PS>>> :canada:

PPS>>> The surface of an anti-griddle is approximately the same temp as the surface that hot canadian chicks play that push puck sport on

PPPS>>> I may or may not have made up that last statistic!!! :anonymous:

No and no... too much $$$ for what it does, and like you I currently lack infinite counter space in this house...

This unit is a small version, but functionality is the same (I think)

it's been so long since I've had ranch but green flecks I don't recall. :notsure: However, the point was that I'm licking her creamy dressing straight from the source, not mine which may or may not have been deposited.

I'm more impressed with the toaster next to the toaster oven.

And yes, that range/griddle top combo is the bees knees.

I think we're in a crew, not sure which one though.
And I only see four implants each top and bottom.
I was supposed to have six bottom. But the rear two wouldn't stay. So four teeth permanent, eight removable.

    :monocle:

Main sink... by the dishwasher and work area

Coffee Bar sink (and 2nd dishwasher)....

Decorative Sink in the Island and damn that thing was sexy.... So, yes 3 sinks in the kitchen...

Sinks in each bathroom (2 in the master) so 4 more; plus 2 utility sinks (one in the laundry room and one in the kennel).... So 9 total

and a bidet in the master if you'd like to count that as a sink (same concept) so make that 10 total... :D

Surprised you didn't the commercial deep fryer (to the right of the range under the microwave) :boink:

*** Also note, the ball-type oil release valve is under the cabinet to prevent accidental ball burning ***

If her stuff is looking like creamy ranch dressing, you're gonna want to glove up so you don't end up w/some little ones (especially at your age)!!!!

It could also be vaginosis or a yeast infection

    Best meal I ever ate...

The French Laundry 'Gold Card Experience' included two 14-course tasting menus and wine pairings personalized by the sommeliers!!!

This was an anniversary gift to my wife one year for all the work and effort she puts into cooking awesome meals for me (and for putting up w/my work schedule, call-outs, and shennanigans over the years without a single complaint)...

This was sooooo out of our league, but I did it as a 'once in a lifetime' experience for her, and one of the most amazing things about the meal was the way everyone there made you feel like you belonged.... It was incredible!!!!

Maybe one day I'll see about doing this for her again; she deserves it!!!!

    upload_2024-12-29_22-54-18.jpg

We were having such a great time w/the meal, this was the only course we got a photo of... The fruit course:

Not my x-ray so I added my situation.
I had the uppers done 12 years ago.

I am still in the process of getting the lower done, that started last May.
2 implants failed, I may end up with only 5 on the bottom.
The second round finishes healing in a couple of weeks.
However with my shoulder surgery in 2 weeks, it may be a couple of months before I can finish the teeth stuff.
I don't think I'll be leaving the house for at least a month.

They have to make a full temporary.
The one I have now doesn't have back teeth; it only has 10, it is just for the healing of the implants.
If I like it, they will make the permanent Zirconia appliance.
None of mine are removable, they are screwed into the implants.
I need to get this wrapped up, as soon as I can get the final permanent lower teeth, the sooner I can file a claim and get reimbursed for a big percentage of it.
I was supposed to be finished in November but those 2 lower implants failed..

Most of my teeth issues are from weak enamel the was inherited to us kids by my Dad.
As well I had a mountain bike accident in my 30s that took out a few upper and lower teeth on the left side..

That's a lot. I'm in the middle stages of getting an implant, and I have one other; but damn, a whole mouthful would be a bit disappointing. Good luck.
