I picked up a full set of leather seats for my 2007 SR5 that came out of a 2010. My drivers side was already power and the new seat plugged right in. I’m still working on wiring the passenger side in but looking at the wiring diagrams it doesn’t look too bad. My tundra was prewired for the heated seats so I ordered an auto climate control (future project) that had the switches in it. I plugged in the switch and sure enough the seat heater started to work! If anyone has any pointers on how they wired up the passenger side let me know.

Are you also pre wired for unload sensor on top the dash- auto headlights.

Did your truck come with JBL radio?

I don’t know if it has the wire for that sensor. That is another project I want to do, from my research I believe it is prewired and no it didn’t have the JBL.

Good to know, this was another item on my list, my 2011 leather sequoia seats are really comfortable, way better then my cloth SR5 seats in my 07 Tundra.

Keep us in the loop on what you do for the passenger side.

Ok so I took some time today since the weather was a little nicer here in PA. I was able to get the seat powered. I ran a fuse tap to the passenger seat off of the drivers side fuse. There is a fuse for the passenger side but the fuse tap only functions with two fuses (took me a minute to figure that out) so I didn’t use it. Heated seats are working as well. I only needed to run two wires to it and then plug in the switch. What helped for me is that they did cut out the wiring from the old car so I was able to run the wires to those and reuse the connectors.

As a follow up fuse taps probably not the best idea. The seats support 30 amps and fuse taps support around 15A max. I did however find behind the kick panel the wiring for the seat and the heated seat. I tested with a multimeter and no fuses in. Once the fuses were in I saw power come through. I plan to solder the wires directly into these instead.
