    Such meta.

Maybe I can get this as a sticker for my truck.

Speaking of doing twice... After finishing up my factory switch seat heaters... My passenger seat cushion element wasn't working. Took the seat out and of course I mis-pinned the factory harness...

Repinned and am now sitting on my passenger seat... It's still not heating up... Might be on my way to thrice here...

Great idea, I had been thinking I should just keep an impact wrench in the truck to make the lug nuts easy, could use it for the jack too (probably not the best for the threads but I wouldn't use it that much)

    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
I smoked one scissor jack several years back doing it Nascar style with an M18. From then on I kept it in Low gear, and lubed the screw periodically. Always good to lube the screw

I've been working on a template/ temporary replacement for my camper shell window. Going to reach out to a local plastics company and get some Plexi or Lexan eventually for the final product. The trim that goes on the tailgate lip isn't straight so that makes things look worse than they are.

Well that all looks really familiar :) I'm going to guess your final product will end up a little better than mine though. I'm interested to see. My glass is holding up great so far, but because there was a very slight curve to the original glass, I've got a bit of a gap where there window meets the tailgate. More on the sides of the topper than along the tailgate itself. I tried a few different weather stripping products but so far haven't found something to seal it. Luckily (I guess) we've had no snow this winter.

My glass had a curve to it as well. My intention was to try pegboard or something besides cardboard to try to mimic the curve when I try out with plastic, but after mounting this I'm not sure how necessary that will be. On the final product, I might glue a second piece of some sort to overlap the tailgate.

    That's not a bad idea.

Before my first attempt with thin plexiglass failed, I still didn't notice the curve. I think it was thin enough that it was a little flexible. But the glass is very thick, and obviously really rigid. No give. I think driving in pouring rain or really sloppy winter roads, with a bunch of spray coming off the road, and I'll have some wet stuff in the back. I guess for now I'll just pack the truck accordingly. There's definitely a solution to my problem, but without fabrication skills and maybe a slightly limited imagination, I'm stuck for now.

Hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge to see what you get. They are not too expensive. Or, get an oil pressure test kit from Harbor Freight or Amazon to make sure there's nothing wrong with the oil pump. https://www.amazon.com/PMD-Products...int=&hvlocphy=2840&hvtargid=pla-2281435177898

Joining the Mr Bee club today. Actually, no, just finally getting around to doing my Coastal Offroad front bumper. Today is prep, making sure the bumper could be removed, etc. All good so far.
    IMG_8827.jpg IMG_8830.jpg

Knocked out some surprisingly light surface rust while I was in here and got some of that fresh psst psst black paint on her.

The instructions with this kit are a step above “remove bumper” and a step below ikea. We’ll see how the rest goes when I fire up old sparky and learn to weld.

You could've bought mine if I'd known you wanted one.

I like it, but I'd have all matching bumpers and sliders if I bought a BFF front.

I bought it a few months ago! Didn’t know you had one. I’ll buy yours when I fuck this one up rofl. I like the tubes better on the Coastal one.
