So at 35k I installed the truck level pucks and have been riding pretty nice until last week. I started to hear a creaking sound while turning at slow speeds and while stopped. I had these install by a Toyota dealer and they had done other like it before. Now I cant imagine that the ball joints or the bearings have worn out after 5k. That’s absurd.

I do make a habit of taking the truck through the car wash once a week but surely it hasn’t degraded the grease in the joints that bad?

    Anyone else have similar experience?

My Readylift SST upper control arms have a grease nipple at the ball joint. Needs grease every 5000 miles or they will creak. Don’t know if that was replaced on yours. Factory are sealed.

Could be a bushing or maybe something is binding up when turning. Stock UCAs? Did they do an alignment after install?

yep did a double alignment. One on the first day and 5 days later after suspension settled in.

Not exactly apples to apples but I had something similar happen on my 5th gen 4runner after lifting it and things settled. I had to loosen up some of the stuff in the front end due to control arm bushings binding. Tightened it all back to spec and was fine. Could also be a spring seat?

Alot of puck level kits specifically state that all hardware needs to be retorqued every 5K miles...maybe something is loose?!
