It's been some time since I've been on here! Paid off mine last month, then just finished a quick polish of the headlights and installed some lights in the hood bulge.

Finished (for now) the suspension overhaul (Bilstein 8112/8100, Icon billet UCAs, Icon RXT rear leaf springs)
Installed the LC brushless motor HVAC blower.
    Installed a heated steering wheel.

How comfortable is the heated steering wheel compared to the TRD PRO one? Besides being heated...

How hard was the steering wheel install, and how does the blower blow compared to OEM? I've felt that the blower has not had enough oomph since the day I bought the truck.

Back from hiding with the family for Christmas, and now I've got a to do list on the truck. Colorado is going hands free on 1/1/25, so the kids got me the Rago Fab dash plate along with the ICS Fab reinforcement plate. My girlfriend also got me a Raxiom hood bulge raptor light set, so I'm going to be a little busy in the next few days while they're off galivanting with the in-laws.

The OE leather steering wheel is smaller diameter than the aftermarket ones (I had the Revesol wheel before switching to this heated one). Both this one and the Revesol are girthy and fill the hands better (TWSS). The biggest difference between this and the Revesol is that the Revesol wheel has finger grooves around the wheel and is a slight but more “square” in cross section around the top.

Install wasn’t bad - finding a spot for the switch is really the most difficult but I had already relocated my rear window switch so the rest was fairly easy. There’s a thread here with info, links, videos, etc.

As for the HVAC blower - others have done objective testing. Check out this thread for info

Get a rack, and use the peg boards for other stuff! And yes, the Makita and Bosch, while older than dirt, still work, just not as long as they used to. Just like me!:thumbsup:

I've got a lot of midwestern friends from Michigan out here in Colorado, and that's the running joke. My main hunting buddy is from Traverse City.

I actually do have a 2nd wall for hand tools and such. Here's a shot of that entire wall of my garage..

I do like how you have the drills hanging the way they are. I think wall control has an accessory for that.

Pretty sure the drill and flashlight are somewhere in my parents basement as well. Loved the clip that you had to use after putting the battery in.

Dad also has the corded makita drill. That thing wrenched my wrist more than once as a child. Lessons were learned..

Whenever the "pros" on this forum say an install of a mod is going to take x amount of time, I know that usually will take me 3x. I was pleasantly surprised that, after seeing "15-20min" being reported, this actually took me 25 minutes!
The hardest part was realizing my body doesn't bend like it it used to.

DEFINITELY more air flowing, especially to the backseat vents.

That backseat line might be the one that sells me on it. I regularly fight with the kids to keep the floor clear so that they keep pumping air back there from under the seat.

That's awesome. I'm a little over two hours SE from TC. We've gone a few times, definitely a very nice place.

MI ppl do this everywhere they go! When we go on vacation, we almost always see MI ppl there and we always use the hand if we don't know the location of their town

Yup. They chewed up the wire bundle on the passenger side of the engine that connects to the fuel injectors. Shop is putting it back together today and hoping it clears all of the codes/warnings, as they couldn’t find other damage. Let’s hope this is the only required fix.
