Suspension upgrade for my 2011 Rock Warrior, now with a fiberglass camper (pics)

    So I just picked up a Tuffport T65 fiberglass camper (US dealer is Wasatch Overland) I'm going to build out for my 2011 Rock Warrior.

    It weighs 600 or so pounds, but with all my stuff will probably hit around 1000.

    Currently I have a bit of sag in the rear and a bit of sway. Feels way too loose. So I want to stiffen things up a bit. Origin suspension on this vehicle, a few of the shocks are starting to leak.

    I'm drowning in options and was hoping you folks could help me narrow it down a bit.

    Things I need:

    1) Anti sway bar -- not sure which one yet.
    2) Better suspension. Was thinking it would be nice to able to level, maybe lift a little bit too. (1 inch maybe -- although a question mark with camper)
    3) Fix the sag in the rear -- what do I go with here? Leaf, airbags, not sure what to go with here. And they need to play with my new shocks & springs... whatever I choose there. That's where the analysis paralysis comes in.

    I was thinking of going with a package like this:

    If you are looking at doing a whole new suspension including leaf packs, etc... I'd reach out to @memario1214 for recommendations on a complete setup based on your budget, needs and goals...

    If you're trying to simply upgrade shocks and deal w/the stability and sag caused by the extra payload, you may want to consider RAS as another option....

    Reach out to Alcan or Deaver for a leaf pack. Get some new shocks, maybe Bilsten 5160 in the rear. You can add a rear swaybar if you see fit after new leaf packs.

    As someone that is ultimately wanting a similar setup, I have found that rear leafs are probably the best bet for longevity. You could probably get by with airbags if needed though.

    As stated, you can get a custom pack from Alcan/Deaver. You can also get a full suspension kit from Dobinsons which is what I plan on doing. Kit includes leafs, front coils and rear struts. Leafs can be ordered at 400, 700, and 1000lbs constant weight.

    While that should stiffen everything up, a TRD sway bar is probably not a bad decision either.

    I don't think you'd go wrong with that Bilstein kit. Improving stiffening of front suspension with a top high load is something
    many don't think about. I had a 2WD Tundra and installed the SOS airbag kit below ( with lowering kit, but not really what you want)
    and I can say the airbags worked wonders in hauling 2 yards of mulch or heavy load of lumber. More load, more air. I know of
    one person who tows race cars on trailer on Texas interstates and uses and swears by his RAS system. Trailer guys really like it.
    I have BOSS airbags on my 60 series land cruiser with roof tent/armoured bumpers with fuel cans and heavy full size spare tire/rear
    11500 lb winch / 38 gal rear replacement fuel tank. You can imagine its as heavy as it sounds and I even try to keep weight down
    in other places. Absolutely the best mod I could have done. Airbags allow adjustment with load.
