I’m just going to put it out there if you have Geico they have mechanical breakdown.. they’ll add it to your policy for free as long as you have a brand new pick up truck... It gives you an extended warranty so you do not have to add it into the price of your truck..six years 100,000 miles bumper-to-bumper and you only pay deductible of $240 when something is wrong and you have to take the truck to the shop.

A little of this and a little of that.

Thanks for the tip. Good to know, if you’re with Gieco.

Do you have to ask for it or is it automatic? I have Geico as well and purchased my 2017 CM brand new.

I have had them automatically bring it up when purchasing a new car. If your not sure call and ask. They do it for all new vehicles.... but let’s be real it’s a Toyota so you probably don’t need it.

Looks like I have Mechanical Breakdown already but I don't see anything about duration or mileage coverage and it's not free for me.

It Didn’t make my policy go up at all. And I spoke to representative that’s who told me the six years or hundred thousand miles you might want to doublecheck.

But for the most part $45 a month extra or $35 a month extra beats add an extended warranty into the overall financing because once the extended warranty runs out it’s still built into your overall financing until the truck is paid for ..

It says it's in excess of coverage provided by the manufacturers warranty. I just want to clarify that it doesn't run concurrently but starts when the manufacturers warranty expires?
