Yes that’s correct gray to pink harness sides. Yes the arrows are dead on. I’m not 100% sure if auto works never have tried it but I don’t see why it wouldn’t the auto kills the ground from the pcm.

Awesome, just remember parking lights have to be on and fogs will work anytime.

I assume this will apply to my 2016 CM Limited and the color we want is amber? What about the resistor that was mentioned, can I order from the same site or is that the "Hyper Flash" option on that page? Lastly, once those parts are ordered and I have the following from Thomas:

Plus the 1 DRL relay harness posted on p. 3.

Is that all I need and am I good to go moving forward adding the 2018 DRL HL to my 2016 Tundra Limited CM?

    Thanks!

Are you guys talking about swapping out lightbulbs or building a spaceship?
    My brain just melted.

This is definitely above my pay grade.

I assume this applies to a 2016 Limited CM as well? I don't have the LED DRLs, just the non-LED amber DRLs.....

Yes if you have a non drl platinum/1794 model you’re gonna have to add 1 relay to get the hi/low drl’s to function properly and add another purple wire to the 3 pin harness that doesn’t have the purple wire as the other does.49ee5be690472c56b29216f0810b5309_7e29ea1640403004826b7c87c6405c35c7de231d.jpg

    Roger,

Which side male/female and do I need to move any pins/wires around? I would assume the male side as the other pig-tail in the empty slot.....

So once I do the that/above and source/purchase the additional DRL relay with the morimoto I am good?

    Thanks!

Thanks Roger for the direction and feedback!!!

Last question, can someone provide me where to purchase the pin and tool to add the additional purple wire to Thomas's pigtail labeled "P" and how long should I make it, same as other?

I assume this is the part number, Sumitomo TS/SL Male terminals CONN-10069?

That doesn't exist at Ballenger but CONN-100069 does and I assume that is the correct part/pin.

    Thanks

You will want to order two CONN-75929 kits. It's the male plug that will mate with the female plug on the harness you already have. The kit comes with 5 terminals and 5 seals so you can use the extra seal and terminal for the purple parking light wire for the signal adapter plugs(they are the same terminals. You will also need four CONN-100550 cavity plugs to fill the unused spots on the black plug. Here's what you'll need for the DRL relay setup

Should I make a new thread with the updated information or keep adding to this one?

Thanks Thomas...Is there a special tool I need to add those wires to the pins and connectors - or just a normal stripper/crimping tool?

    Thanks

I don't see why not. I went with the fully sealed relays because I get to deal with New England winters!

Yes 16 gauge wiring. You'll only need one relay. I added the second relay to upgrade the high beam wiring to 16 gauge

That's why I'm wondering if I should just make two new separate threads or leave well enough alone

Yes it’s probably a good idea, the first couple of pages with your first set up and then mine confuses people.

The purple wires from Thomas's relay harness attach to the P and D pigtails Thomas provided earlier, see images below. Even though the D pigtail already has the purple wire, will need to adapt to Thomas's relay harness below? I will need to go back and read, where do the pigtails (D and P) plug into? Sorry guys for all the questions but your dealing with a half wit here....

Correct, The purple wires with the male terminals in my relay picture are meant to replace the purple wire on the "D" plug on the right and inserted into the open spot in the "P" plug
