    Currently have a 2013 V8 Tundra 105k miles never had any issues . 2x4WD Great truck .
Couple/few times have almost not made it up the boat ramp due to tire spin. Can’t stand it . Also looking to get the larger cab size Thinking about getting a newer 2021 V8 4WD or newer 2022 V6 which has higher tow rating than the V8 either one with 4WD.
    Let me hear your thoughts
On towing capacity and performance and longevity/reliability.

At the boat ramp, first question is what shoes has it got on it? As far as 4WD V6 vs V8, neither should have trouble pulling a boat. Purely your preference, but if longevity is the concern, my money would be on a low mileage '21 over a a '22 or even a '25.

After having a 2014DC and 2019CM both 4WD and 5.7's, aside from the exhaust note and crispy throttle response, I don't miss them one bit. My 22 CM 6.5 pulls my enclosed trailer so much better than either one ever did. I can cruise along 75-80 without feeling like I'm running the crap out of my truck. No gear hunting. And a big reason I traded is I now have a CM with a bigger bed. Also got a couple more mpg. Despite the recalls, I'm still happy with my purchase.
