One thing I’ve found is the EPC is not very good for finding part numbers of the various plastic clips, clamps and electrical connectors. Take for example this one that holds the engine harness to the lifting hook. Mine was mostly disintegrated from heat and time. The dealer was no help in finding the part number. I finally pulled the remaining fragment and found a 5 digit number that I was able to match up with the last 5 of the correct part. Several of my other clips and connectors need replacing. Has anyone compiled a list of part number for the various connectors and clips? Thanks.

I'd love something like this. I've seen it on other forums. I'd recommend to go to the thread tools menu at the top-right of your 1st reply though, and change the thread title to include "1st gen".

I've encountered the same issue as I've worked through restoring the truck. Many of the plastic components under the hood are brittle from the desert heat and time. If I'm unable to determine the correct replacement, my go-to dealer (Earnhardt Toyota) has never let me down. Fantastic staff. I'm thankful I don't rely on EPC. Corporates site is shitty, IMHO, and I avoid it as much as possible. I may have used it twice in ~4 yrs.
