All this because they can't source a reliable spring compressor. Jeez.

They should hit up Westcott....Jeff has been compressing these springs for years now, he could tell Toyota what works and what doesnt

Curious to know if the dealership does it while Toyota corporate is saying "stop"...does it still carry the full factory warranty on the lift?

Yes, full 12K/12M warranty as with all Toyota Accessories. It's 3Y/36K if it was put on @ vehicle purchase. I think the difference is weird. However I am buying a 10Yr/100K Toyota Platinum Warranty through Jerrie and that in fact covers the lift the whole time! YESSSS!!!!!!

So does this means that we can order again? or is it just that dealer specifically? A little weird that they "ordered it" Saturday if most dealers are saying that they cannot order them at all. Or, that they are unavailable all together.

My Dealer put the order in for the TRD Lift on a Saturday to "see if it comes in"....On their end, it was not showing a "stop sale"... So they literally put the order in on a Saturday, and it came in the Following Tuesday. I think I just got lucky?!

I'm getting my vehicle serviced in the morning for my trip up north for Christmas. While I am at my dealer I am hopeful that they can order it or at the very least, provide some sort of insight to when I can.

I have been checking the status everyday on the lift kit and the CAI system. Lift kit still says “Not Available” and the CAI is still on MAC release. I’m not sure how this dealership was able to order one, I tried placing an order for one and Toyota canceled it

I am a GST dealer in Texas, the lift kit is on STOP_SALE/Postponed, yet... other PDC's outside of GST show those lift kits, the Portland (PDX) warehouse shows 6 at the moment, maybe try as the one did in OREGON

Got my lift kit INSTALLED!!! AND I got the real scoop of what happened. One parts guy was telling me it was ordered and it came in....I even questioned him several times the process, like okay it came in from Toyota?? I was told "yes we just got it in".... From the parts manager at pick up from the install, what really happened is they had the TRD lift kit in there own stock, it was on hold for a different costumer for MONTHS. When I "ordered" it, they contacted the previous customer that had there name on it, and they backed out for whatever reason. So in reality nothing came in from Toyota, they had the lift kit the entire time. This place also has there own better spring compressor so that wasn't an issue. So I just got lucky I guess, they also discounted the kit to $2450 and charged me $1450 for install.... not too shabby!

I apologize for any confusion as I was getting the run around as well. But I think it puts the rumors to rest that TRD lift kit is still not available.

This is how I got mine. It was already in dealer stock.

You got a much better deal on yours’. I got no discounts.

This kit has no correction for the panhard bar in the rear? 3” would create about and 1” of offset.

Man that's frustrating, my order was on hold for seven months from San Francisco Toyota and they had the kit sitting there the whole time.

Well, SF warehouse showing they HAVE them means nothing to Toyota anymore, if they have a CODE (STOP SALE/POSTPONED) next to part#, the depot can't/won't ship it to a Dealer, much has changed in Toyota land over the past 5-7 years, no more expediting parts etc. It turns out the guy in Oregon bought from a dealership that still had one on HOLD for a cust, Toyota didn't ship it.

The kit does not come with a correction kit. I purchased and installed mine from these guys:
    https://drkdss.com/products/copy-of-botck-bolt-on-trackbar-correction-kit-tundra

Don't know if it makes much difference, it really just recentered my rear axle by a fraction of an inch and i assume it will be more settled going over washboards.

BOTCK makes a huge difference. Brings your pan hard back to parallel. Without pan hard parallel at ride height, axle flights against more lateral movement=stiffer ride

Yes my 3rd gen 4Runner had the same rear suspension and a good jounce in the rear would make it almost fishtail. It was a lighter truck but the feeling was very unsettling. I first got an adjustable bar which cenetred the wheel but still gave the same sensation and then I got a weld on bracket and that did the trick

I was talking to the service manager at my local dealership when I picked up my truck after getting the engine recall done and asked about the lift and he said that they where having alignment problems after installing them. That the ones they did before the stop have been in multiple time because the alignment won't take.

We have done several of them and haven't had any issues...maybe it's that particular dealerships alignment tech or machine

That's good to know cause I had been looking into one until he told me that and with the Stop sale it seemed as reasonable as any other answer.
