Thanks again everyone for the input. I have flown to other parts of the country to buy a vehicle and have no problem in doing it again. Yes I do feel that I can pick my suspension, tire-wheel setup that will perform better than the TRD Pro package and at a better cost. I will be doing my own install work with no costs associated with that. Nice thing is I have my own machine shop, fabrication garage to do the work. Once again keep the comments coming.

I was rear ended a couple months back, wasn't sure what they were going to do with my '22 SR5 so while it was getting fixed I started looking for run. I have RC 2" leveling struts in the front with a 1" spacer lift in the back and my truck rides great. Don't do a lot of hard core wheeling, more just snow and forest roads. When I looked recently I found several SR5 trim trucks in stock with the 3" TRD lift kit installed and a MSRP of only about $2500 more than what I paid for my truck (I paid MSRP). I would jump on one of those if it had all the bells and whistles you want. Full warranty coverage for a small bump in price. Just add tires, maybe wheels and you're done!

What offset are these wheels and it looks like those are Open Countrys? I keep going back and forth between 35's and 37's but this shot makes me think I'll be happy with 35's for now. Do you have any more pictures?

I'm hunting in prev.gen SR5, spend all time on dirt roads whenever I can afford, in all seasons. Wife drives a Sequoia TRD PRO, which is based on Limited. I take SR5 any day. Cloth seats are comfortable both in heat of summer and cold of winter. I run them with WetOkole neoprene covers, they are durable, spill-proof and very easy to clean of drinks, mud and blood. Same for plastic steering wheel vs leather wrapped hers. Her sunroof broke in less than a year, my SR5 does not have one, so nothing has a chance to break or leak.

Last time I looked at 35s they would cost me over $100 extra per piece, so I stay with 33. One inch of ground clearance for $400-500 does not motivate enough to make a purchase.

I have a dual battery isolator, 6 AWG cable running above the frame to the battery in bed, where it powers a fridge for beer and game meat. Also adding a diesel heater for winters, getting a bit too old for sleeping in negative temps in unheated truck. LEER cap with roof rack and ARB awning as well. Winch in front semi-stealth steel bumper for pulling myself out, drying wet clothes on a rope or dressing the game over a tree branch =)

Very stiff for log roads. I liked the stock TRD OR 4600 more. Also my rear 5100 blew up recently, after about 3 years and 30k miles, replaced with ARB OME, which was quite an improvement.

I got the Rough Country 3.5” lift kit and I really like it. I’ve been VERY surprised at how smooth the ride is with it. 35x11.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers

wheels are 18x9 +18. Toyo AT3 35x12.5 no rubbing with just the 2” level and no cutting needed. I think for 37s you will need to do some trimming.

Get everything you want now, I’d say. I got a sr5 and I can’t get the lcd dash, I can’t install 360 cam because I opted for the less obnoxious 8” screen and I’d love to have parking sensors, and that can’t be added either. I’m stuck till I trade for what I want.

I have the 8” screen. I love it. I also had parking sensors when I bought my truck. In think they went away with the free subscription trials.

Edit: I’m also only speaking to after market items that he is talking about upgrading. Not specific vehicle options (e.g. heated seats, screen size)

I like my Icon front uppers with KING 2.5 setup. I started with the trd lift from factory but swapped it up. Overkill for my needs but nice to have.
