Merry Christmas, all!

Our daughter (4 years old) slept in until 7, which I thought was pretty good, all things considered. If she'd had her way, she'd have had her stocking and all her presents open by 7:05. Meanwhile, the twins (18 months old) are happy to sit in the play room playing with all the old toys we already had.

We were at my parents' last night for a traditional meatless Christmas Eve dinner. That was sort of a last minute decision to go as my parents were supposed to have company flying in yesterday but they delayed their flight until the 27th due to being sick. We'll do presents with them later this week to try to keep the kids from getting too overwhelmed.

Going to my wife's parents' place later today for turkey dinner and presents with them.

No, but I have what amounts to a Tacoma with a V8 which is clearly Best.

 

Yes... a V8 with less horsepower than the Tacoma's V6....

 

But more payload than a 2nd or 2.5 Gen, especially after my upgrades. My 3rd Gen has more HP, more torque and more payload that a 2nd or 2.5 Gen too.

 

It also has a self destruct mode, so that's cool.

It's mostly an Orthodox thing. My dad's mom is Ukrainian Orthodox and my mom's grandparents were some kind of Orthodox too. In this context, fish isn't meat, so you'd be more than welcome to join us next year since I know that's your favourite.

My mom did make chicken fingers last night too since my youngest brother's new girlfriend apparently doesn't eat fish.
