Custom rear shock relocation done by B2P Motorsports in Fort Worth, TX. Billy is a phenomenal fabricator that runs a shop that's completely in its own lane. This shop builds pre runners and here in TX this is absolutely unheard of.

    Setup:
    Icon progressive AAL
ADS Racing Shocks 2.5 Triple Bypass Shocks
    Removed spare tire cradle
    Custom LSPV bracket
Trail Gear extended rear brake line

    Impressions:
Truck definitely has a more body roll. It is much softer and compliant over washboards and the "jolting" often found in the rear end of these trucks is completely gone. I had some animosity with the AAL, but I think it pairs well for now and with the additional lift and travel it's almost perfectly spec'd for the shock package. Waiting to hear back from durobumps prior to deciding if I want to mount the ADS bump cans in the rear. Truck is incredibly smooth and it feels like I actually removed the sway bars (which I did). It's incredibly comfortable on the highway and even better at speed in the dirt. Haven't driven it through anything that's enough to upset it, but I'll get out to push the truck and get the bypasses tuned.

I like this a lot, I have been wanting to do a “mid-travel” on my truck. Any build plans or breakdown on this? I seen archive does a kit for mid travel but this looks cleaner and better. I’m out in CA so a trip to TX isn’t gonna work lol

I feel like I was pretty descriptive with the post, but in all honesty if you or your shop doesn’t know how to cycle shock and set it up properly then your probably better off doing the archive garage setup. This is essentially the same thing, but my fabricator said he’d rather build his own. This was also built specifically for the shocks I already had vs throwing in any 12” shock like archive states.

Rear bench is back in for now? Need to take people around every now and then and the 2 seater truck was not it. Probably will rebuild my rear seat platform with plywood instead of MDF, have it sit on top of the rear seat, and find a way to anchor it while being easy to remove.

Not much going on with the truck these days. Putting everything on hold with the new job.

Have a few wild ideas, but just kicking them around until I feel good about spending the money.
Sitting on some spindle gussets, hubs, wheel bearings.

Replaced the carrier bearing to be greeted with a bad U joint. Got a bed cover. Maintenance blah blah blah

I can’t at the moment. Since we took out the rear tire cradle I don’t have any extra support on the frame. Plus I kinda like the sleeper look haha

Yeah. My shock relocation is further back than archive garage’s so we had to make more room.

I have a full size spare in the bed.

My truck 100% looks better without the spare hanging off it's ass like a fucking prairie doggin' shit

I'm trying drawing up a mount to stand up and lock the tire in place.

just leaving it flat in the bed had my anxiety going.

little pricey, but the US Cargo Control L track is now standard issue for any truck I own. Endless tie downs and they’re strong as hell. Anything that goes in my bed has a tie down or it’s wedged so it can’t move so I can get rowdy without worrying or thinking about it.

Hey, happy holidays, been following this build for awhile, I got some Baja lights for the fogs like you, exact model. Looks so clean. I gutted the pockets and it still doesn’t fit. I’m not sure if I didn’t gut enough or it’s not going to fit. Any chance you have close up pics of the holes/fogs?. Or mounting? I’m running around with big holes now and it looks like crapp… I don’t want to get a new bumper lol.i started yesterday thinking I’ll be done by Christmas. Probably will look at Friday again since it’s the holidays. Thank you appreciate it. It’ll help out a lot. Happy holidays.

I don't have any unclose pics of it and it's really a giant pain to remove the lights. I hope you really did your homework because if you're expecting them to sit inside the pockets like the little pods they won't.

Alright, I thought I did enough homework, I know they won’t sit flush im ok with that, I know on like side profile shots on your rig the light sticks out and the bracket is very much visible and I’m ok with that i think it looks good. I’m just not sure what I’m doing wrong. Just looking for a closer pic of the fog with the light in it and all at a couple angles too get a reference. You don’t have to remove the light.

    Haven’t updated in a while.

    Aside from maintenance I’ve added:

    OG TRD exhaust
    - threw in a new mid pipe since it was just welded together before.
    - might be getting old since I’m enjoying the low rumble without all the roaring going on 24/7.
    IMG_9300.jpg

    Billie Bars
    - From a 2.5G with universal clamps. Cut the extrusions to fit the 1G. Also have some caliraisedled molle panels to mount some gear on trips.
    IMG_8700.jpg
Custom front light mount for all my Baja Designs. Sendcutsend was pricey but it’s nice I have a one off solution.
    IMG_8049.jpg
and a car seat for the little one lol.
