Swapped out the TRD Pro Bilisteins with 108,000 miles for 6112’s. Even broke down the pros for the dust boots! Interested to see the ride difference between the two.

Would you say they were shot at 108k miles?

I wouldn’t say they were completely shot but definitely wore out and not doing a whole lot. Once I took the springs off I can compress them without much resistance, but they still expand. I live in WV so salt in the winter definitely ate them up pretty good as you can see but there were no leaks. You can also see how clean the shafts and top caps are which is why I wanted the dust boots. The boots were in good shape just needed cleaned.

Super curious how you feel the eibach shocks do with the RAS…. I have RAS sitting in my garage and shocks with 75k miles on them… I’m looking for a reason to swap them out! Haha

What setting did you go with on the RAS? I worry the heavier setting would lift the truck too much for the shocks.

got my cam tab gussets installed today. Really happy with it, I knew some of my oem tabs were flat but turns out a couple were sheared off completely. Flex fabrications in Sealy, Tx did the install for me. Recommend, good dude.

Will do once I get some more miles on them. So far it seems like the front end is firmer, but not in a bad way. Still have to get it aligned but that’s not happening u til the 30th

Put the rears together today. Need to make some adjustments to the combination of parts - I've got way too much rake now.
But that's a problem for another day.
Alignment for the fronts scheduled for Tuesday morning.

I think that RAS might have to go. My new leafs gave me 2” lift and the RAS is now hanging in my garage until I sell it.

Got one too very early, can't compare prices as it was exported, found it so convenient that I now added a Black Sheep tailgate rifle and ammo safe. It's a must where I'm posted.

    They are--
Go Rhino D64416T Dominator Xtreme D6 Side Steps with Rocker Panel Mounting Kit - Crew Cab Only for Toyota 07-21 Tundra (Crew Cab Pickup)

Got them on Amazon for around $520.00. I chose these because of how they mount to the truck. The brackets attach to the side of the step instead of hanging below

I've looked at these before as I like the high and tight look but don't want/need sliders, my concern has always been flex. Do these flex at all when stepped on? We have RB20 Slim boards on my wife's Trail Boss and those are solid, zero flex at all, I've considered just going with those.

They don't flex at all, very solid, even with my 225lbs jumping on them. They have three mounting points, A fourth would be nice but not necessary

I thought that may have been what they are. I have seen pics that make them seem as if they stick out super far. On yours it doesn't appear like they do. I want enough to step on but don't want anything hanging way out there.

I’m leaning towards going back to the stock rear shackle first.

I'm guessing you meant to quote @Ebrperk

The look like sliders but they are only mounted to the rocker so they should not be used as such. I don't know how far they stick out but I don't like them to stick out to much either, that's why we went with RB20 Slim on my wife's truck. Wouldn't mind seeing a shot from the front or back down the side to see how far they stick out.

Naw....that headache is from the scent of Greeley! Used to work for a construction company based out of Greeley and for some reason, only ever went to corporate when the sugar beet and abattoirs were in full swing...lovely combo of smells.

    Yep. Not needed with RAS.

And I just didn’t like the idea of hyperextending the factory leafs to reach the bump stops.

I run the same setup. RAS compliments the spring rate of the eibach coilovers. Matches really well. Before I installed RAS, stock leaf springs seemed too soft for the eibach front suspension. Once installed RAS, it firmed up the rear to a perfect match to the rest of the eibach setup. Im very happy with the truck.

I went with RAS to help support the weak factory leafs, it really helps with tow/haul sag and seems to make the truck handle better. I chose RAS because it does not negatively impact the ride like airbags or AAL. It really does what they say it does.

I set mine with a quarter, which is in between the white and black disks for seteup. Lifted the rear an inch, which is what I wanted, 2 inch lift front, 1 inch in back....1 inch of rake.

I have a similar safe, not sure of the brand. Where did you get the organizer insert, and could you get me dimensions? I'd love to have something other than the massive well next to the safe.

I'm south and west of Greeley by about 25 miles. When the weather shifts and we get the "backdoor" cold fronts, it blows all the wonderful smells of town and surrounding up towards us. I don't mind it so much anymore after working at the Toyota dealer in Greeley for 3.5 years.

honestly no clue. When I left the fab place everything was good, stopped at a gas station and had one more look over everything, no grease. Somewhere along after the gas station the inner boots spewed grease all over, was pretty dark when I got home so couldn't see too well. Got a chance to look at them today and the inners have a tiny little crack toward the small end which let the grease seep out, so not as bad as I thought it would be initially.
Already have replacement boots ordered from Wheelers offroad. On the plus side I have a spare set of brand new Cv's sitting on my parts shelf so just gonna swap to those while I get around to replacing the boots on my originals.

I didn't do anything except buy my very first Tundra. 2020 Platinum CM, now learning the color is cement. I'm soooo fired up. And I see many, many dollars leaving my bank account. :eek2:

Glad to be part of the community! So much learning and reading to do.
