My guy was pretty worried at the 124, he said normally that's an ER trip. Since mine has been historically low he sent me for a blood test immediately, asking for same day results. It came back 130 so he calmed down.

I had to look up SIADH, sounds more like a thyroid issue that affects the kidneys than kidney issue. Like you I am not a doctor, but the only websites I refer to are Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic and NIH/CDC.

Best of luck to her. Hopefully a med adjustment and all is good again.

Day 4 of this cold. Constant runny nose is now gone but instead I have sinus/chest congestion. Hoping I'm over the worst of it from here on out. Was able to finally get a better nights sleep last night which probably helped.

I’m not a doctor either, but a lot of weight loss can be an indicator of a pancreatic problem. I do not know if age has any relationship to all this either.

I work with an old fart who refers to his wife as his "future ex-wife". They've been together for 30+ years, so when I ask when the divorce is happening he says "l'm old, I'm tired, and divorce sounds suspicously like hard work and hassle. Also, calling her that keeps her on her toes..."

Yes, it's cold as a Witch's Tit here tonight as well, have the pellet stove cranking in the basement and the woodstove upstairs doing its thing. Love the heat from the wood better though. :)

Love my wood stove. Gets a lot of use about 5/6 months out of the year.

The shorter days really kill me. It's dark when I leave the house to go to work and it's dark when I leave work to go home. Always look forward to the winter solstice knowing that from there on out the days get 1 minute longer every day moving forward. Only about another month left of my winter semi-hibernation. By the end of January the days are noticeably longer enough to where I am able to see the sun more often and actually do things when I get home from work instead of just eat something, fart around for 30 minutes and then go to sleep.

Last day of work before the break…
Hitting snooze until a good song is playing when the alarm goes off. Wasted 30 min already so think I had just better get going.

Boss won’t be around. Last time I saw him he said “here’s your 12:30 time-to-go-home handshake”. Since the cafeteria is closed today I will be leaving at 11.

The office should be pretty empty today, which is great. I will finish cleaning up my laptop; deleting all the chit I no longer care about. Bring on 2025!
