My truck sits way more than it's driven, sometimes (especially during winter)for weeks at a time without being used at all. Although it's in a climate controlled garage, I ordered a 4' battery tender extension cable on Amazon & ran it from battery to lower part of passenger side grille. Now I can hook up my battery tender without opening hood anytime it's parked.

I didn’t have to relocate the control box, I just slightly trimmed the bracket that has the front bumper guides on it. The Backwoods bumper allows you to push the winch pretty far back.

Rest was already there, rear end is finally done! A bit bummed I had to take my step out since not compatible with the bumper, but it is what it is...

Christmas lights put on the rack I installed yesterday. Tried running plug-ins to the bed outlet but couldn't get the cord through the tonneau cover in a way that didn't suck. Went with battery powered ones from the online retailer.

That’s awesome ! Need to see it at night !!
Funny story , I get to work at 7am a week ago or so and opened the gates . I hear a rumble in the distance and then a loud scream of exhaust . My young shop hand is coming around the bend on the rev limiter in 6”of snow with Xmas lights wrapped from one end of his 98 2wd ranger to the other . A big Christmas wreath on the grill and a grin from ear to ear on his face !! My knees gave out and I fell over laughing ! All I thought was ,, fak I have an outlet !! I should have lights lol. Reality kicked in and I thought about scratches and bulbs bouncing off paint and how old I am ,,,,, so I opted to enjoy his more than impressive Xmas Ranger :). Damn I’m gettin old !

Backwoods rear bumper is on my shortlist, nice to see it in the wild. Good fit and quality? Is there no way to modify the OEM bed step to fit? Seems like a common problem with the aftermarket rear bumpers ive seen unfortunately.

That looks fantastic. Question for you or for anyone that can answer it for me. Did you replace your door handles with color matching ones and if you did where did you get them?

Installed these running boards Dec 15, purchased from Amazon, one week shipping and well packed in HD cardboard, no shipping damage.
Single person install with hand sockets, took me about 90 minutes, 60 for the first, 30 for the second. Instructions were clear and all parts labeled. Used factory install points, no drilling or cutting.
Boards are power coated aluminum, brackets and fasteners are black painted steel. Finish seems durable, everything fit and adjustments were easy. Cost was $209.

These work great, wife loves them! Good grip and wider then the factory boards I had on my 2020 Platinum Tundra. They are not sliders but my truck is for towing our travel trailer, a Lance 1985.
Picked that up this week and pulled it 100 miles on I5 in a atmospheric river (2.33 inches in 24 hours), not fun but the truck did very well cruising at 60 in the right lane with the big rigs throwing sheets of spray up as they passed.

    Our trucks are twins.
Same boards I bought almost a year ago at $221. Price actually came down.
    Still love mine.

The aluminum boards themselves look like the day I put them on, but the steel mounting brackets are showing the slightest bit of rust where the paint didn't hang on too well. Next spring I'll probably take them off, hit them with some rust converter and then coat them with Rhino lining or similar.

Installed the TRD Heritage Grille. I also got the fender flares color matched because that piano black just wasn't doing it for me. I wasn't wild about the Bumpershellz grille covers so I just got new 'stache pieces and had my buddy color match those as well.

I was wondering if the step would work with the Backwoods rear bumper, I’m waiting for mine to be shipped out. I guess I’ll have to sell the step, oh well. Thanks for the info.

fit and finish, looks very stout, I would not want to rear end me right now! Only time will tell how good their powder coating is!

regarding the bed ste the bumper bracket and the bumper itselft are in the way, the only way that could work is to build a new bed step bracket that would use the same 4 bolts that attatch the bumper to its supporting brackets

I have these, too. Pretty solid. I live in a place that gets a bunch of snow, and they do a good job of keeping the lower 1/3 of the body free from gunk.

does the baja front bumper bull bar cover the grille lightbar? hard to tell from pictures but it looks like it makes the grille lightbar a no go, just the bumper lightbar instead

While it does come up in front of it, with it's light throw being to the sides it doesn't seem to impact it from how I noticed it before or after installation.

Here's a bunch more photos if you want to check.

Hey, welcome to the nuthouse! Great bunch of crazies here.
You hang around here long enough and it's definitely a bad influence, but in a good way.
(Case in point: I need to order up those RC wheel well liners.)
As long as you don't mind parting with your money on truck mods. ;)
We love spending each other's money and we love pictures.

White with black accents (AKA Stormtrooper) is a great look on these trucks.
