Who's got dogs? Post your pup!

Worn out from the park:

 

Just adopted a 2.5 year old rescue corgi/ chihuahua mix. His name is bear. Kids love him. He’s been so great already.

My wife and I have had a 4 lb chihuahua for 15 years. She’s a good dog but not a kid dog. It’s nice to have a dog the kids aren’t afraid to pet, kiss and wants to lay with them

 

Chasing a fly

 

Simple solution - just buy a second TV. Gamechanger, literally!

 

But then your dogs are going to just follow you and change that TV. Ask me how I know.

 

How?

 

So... my dogs have a herd mentality where we all have to stick together like our lives depend on it. So, there I go going clomp-clomp and soon after you'll hear a bunch of clickity-clackity right behind like it's a confused train. As soon as I sit down, they give me a second of respite. Just enough to trick and lull me into thinking that I had the upper hand. Lo and behold, as I'm reaching for the magical wand and that *click* from the TV is heard, I get the organized gang-up of three dogs, like it's a synchronized swimming competition with a bunch of flowing fur coming at my face. One distracts me with two paws and a lickety-lick like her life depended on grabbing every ounce of sweat off my face in a round of Squid Game. The other two gnarl and bellow to each other in trying to grab the remote as I'm flailing it about like it's my first time attacking with a morning star. As soon as one of them manages to accidentally poke my finger with one of their canine's, the other one gets to work on figuring out which channel the magical picture box will show Animal Planet. Nothing will stop them and nothing will get between their eager eyes and the imaginary king of the jungle they think they are when they watch that shit.

Thus, I caved and bought a second TV.

 

that's awesome they can use the remote. My dog never even paid attention to the TV, until there was a door bell, a knock, or a cat sound on the TV. Then she'd go ballistic. Lol

 

These are no ordinary dogs, they're Kelpies. Only a locked gate and a bunch of baa's behind that gate will get them to lose focus. We humans, in this box we call a home, are those sheep to them.

Then, there's that blasted husky.

 

My dog watches some of the drug commercials like his life depends on it. And for the record, no, I don't think he has plaque psoriasis.

 

Our dog was in our wedding, made our choice of venue limited due to that fact. She had our rings on her collar. I started by walking her down the isle and she sat with me as the rest of the wedding party and my wife came down, then she laid next to the first row until it was time for the rings. She came to us and sat while I retrieved the rings from inside a zippered pillow that was on her collar that my mom made.

Garage

There are only 2 of us living here...

We've noticed more and more Milo watching the animals on TV.
He and Mavs will bark at dogs, but any other animal Milo just watches them...

 

Tried to take a pic of Milo lying in the sun on the back porch couch.
The double-pane windows were a challenge..



He loves to be outside even though our dogs are indoor dogs.
Although he was found in the hood in Dallas off MLK...
He looked like he had been on the streets for a while, he has gained 25 pounds since we got him.
But he was also a puppy and part of that was growing up...

1 on outside patio
1 in Living Room
1 in Master
1 in "man cave"
1 spare for football games on the road

Obligatory dog pic. I took her to work on black Friday as I was the only one there. After checking out the shop, she found her bed and took a nap in the sun

 

They always find the most comfortable place in the whole house!


I always have wished I could get that comfortable.
