For everyone this is what it looked like when I first bought it. Minus the morimotos and Baja fogs I installed.

I prefer the color matched grill and end caps, or color matched grill with aftermarket bumper.

What does that $1500 get you? I need bumper caps, a grill, and hood scoop thing anyways, this might be the way to go for me.

After seeing this the black grill goes better with the black bumper imo, makes it look bigger

I paid 300 for the entire black surrounding grill
Overlay plus the TRD grill itself which was another $300 so I’m $600+ in.

That’s what I’m saying, it was wild to read everyone’s responses saying it looks better color matched. No way everyone has that…the black is unique and different.

~$1,000 gets you the color matched grill (and everything associated with it, including the TSS garnish and badging) and upper bulge.

Then you have ~$500 to get color matched bumper end caps. Might be able to do it for less.

When I got my 2018 I budgeted $1,000 for the color matched parts. That is about what they came to, maybe a bit less. I also was able to sell the chrome parts and make some back (can't remember what I got for them, couple of Benjamins I think).

+1 on making the front corners blue. I think it would look better vs all black now; helps break it up.
    Good looking truck!

Can't find a used grill chrome or otherwise to save my life. Everyone already swapped and sold and I missed out.

I got the bumpershellz, and I gotta say- I'm impressed. I think they are the way to go if you're color matching. IMG_2396.jpg

I’m in the same process on my 2nd gen. Personally the grill gets too much front end attention. After reading differing views I’d go with full colour matched lower bumper entirely especially the lower center section. Surround of the grill colour matched. I like a straight line across the top of the Moromito’s and across the top of the black portion of the grill. Keep grill and scoop insert black. Everything else Blue

I kept my front bumper center section original black for two reasons. First, it matched the rear with color matched end caps and black center (came from factory that way).

Second, the front center is plastic, not painted and I have bumped (softly) into things when parking. If it were painted it would ding it, since it is plastic, no damage.
