Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008). Max. A rewatch but always entertaining, and one of the few where the sequel is better than the original.

Red River (1948). Tubi. Despite the typical American Indian stereotyping, there was a decent plot line.

All About Eve (1950). Internet Archive. A bit long-winded and no action, but good acting performances and story line.

A Woman Under the Influence (1974). Max. Great acting performances but what a downer of a film.

White Chicks (2004). Netflix. This was horrid. A before-Thanksgiving dinner flick chosen by one of my daughters and her BF.

Airplane! (1980). Prime. The wife and I, and my other daughter, enjoyed this classic for the after-Thanksgiving dinner flick.

Pirate Software live stream. Great for the background while at work on a weekend or night shift.

The Learning Tree (1969). Internet Archive. A little gem of a flick. “A bittersweet, idyllic story about a year in the life of 14-year-old Newt Winger, born into a poor Black family in Kansas, who learns about love, fear, racial injustice, and immorality.”

Dazed and Confused (1993). OK site. In the D&C vs Fast Times debate, D&C has a better soundtrack and cooler cars. FT, for me, was the better film - I found it more entertaining, humorous, and relevant.

Song of the South (1946). Internet Archive. Typical good old family oriented Disney flick.

Lions vs Packers. Prime. Lions beat the Packers in a thrilling game.

Black Narcissus (1947). Tubi. Convincing set designs that really gave the feeling of being in the Himalayas, though filmed in UK studios. I found sister Ruth’s character to be a little overacted. Good watch overall.

Boy Kills World (2023). Hulu. A bit over the top with the violence but an entertaining flick.

Bicycle Thieves (1948). Tubi. Excellent film. It is amazing that the three lead actors (father, mother, and son) were non-actors at the time.

Guns Akimbo (2019). Roku. Another little over the top with the violence but entertaining.

Just watched the latest episode. Won't spoil it, but the fatality that happens in it reminds me of my time in the patch. Not for the faint of heart.

It's a great show. Billy Bob once again shows why he's among the greats.

This is a great intense show, right up there with Breaking Bad and Yellowstone.

It really is and you can tell Taylor Sheridan has experience in the oilfield. Just from my time on the floor it's spot on.

Turbo Kid (2015). Peacock. Decent acting but hokey story line and it looked like the special effects department came over from the Power Ranger’s.

Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022). Max. There is a lot going on at once. Entertaining for sure. Not convinced it is worthy of more than three Oscars, and certainly not best picture.

Yellowstone (2018-2024). Paramount+. Completed S5. Will there be a S6? I’m good with the series ending as is.

The Old Man (2022-2024). Hulu. Completed rewatching S1 to jump back in and start on S2. The Afghanistan war story feels aged but Bridges and Lithgow keep it interesting for me.

Little Dieter Needs to Fly (1997). Prime. Documentary on Dieter Dengler, a naval pilot shot down in Vietnam. The focus is on his amazing escape as a POW. The filmmaker is Werner Herzog and there is an odd element how he put this together that I can’t put my finger on.

The Red Shoes (1948). Tubi. If you like ballet, this movie is for you. Bored me at times, especially the long dancing sequence. Sad and somewhat abrupt ending.

Hawaii Five-O (71-72). Paramount+. Completed S4.Notable guest appearances: Buddy Epsen, Vic Morrow, John Ritter, Marion Ross, and Loretta Swit.

Person of Interest (2011; pilot episode). Prime. Watched the show when it came out but never saw the pilot episode. It was a good one.

Violent Night (2022). Prime. Violent but entertaining. It kept my attention from start to finish.

Diehard (1988). Roku. First time I pay attention to the opening sequence, which explains why McClane is caught barefoot when shit hits the fan.

Snowpiercer (2013). Tubi. Felt the ending was kinda of a letdown but enjoyed the movie overall.

Jacknife (1989). Fandango at Home. A bit slow at times but a good drama about two war buddies adjusting to post Vietnam war life.

Divorce American Style (1967). Tubi. A comedy drama with Dick Van Dyke and Debbie Reynolds. I could take it or leave it.

Snatch (2000). Paramount+. Hilarious. Lots of rewinding due to the heavy accents but very funny all around.

Friday the 13th (1980). OK site. First time watching the entire film. Not as polished as Halloween but still a good slasher watch.

My Girl (1991). OK site. Sweet and tender, made me misty eye a couple of times.

Just watched “The Substance” on Mubi (signed up just to watch this and then will cancel) with my wife last night. Craziest movie I’ve seen in a long time.

Labyrinth (1986). Hulu. Has developed a cult following. The Dark Crystal was a much better Henson film imo.

The Green Mile (1999). OK site. Excellent cast and acting.

Charlie Bartlett (2007). Tubi. Starring the late Anton Yelchin, RIP. Entertaining flick.

The Old Man (2024). Hulu. Completed S2. Good season and good cliffhanger - unfortunately, Harold will not be saved as FX has cancelled the show. Bummer.
