    Alright guys, I have been researching what I want to do for the past few weeks and have come to the point where I am not turning to you guys to help push me in the right direction now with the questions I have. I want to make sure I do this once and do it right.

    What I want from the lift:
    *
    looking at fitting 35's with the 18x9 Method Mesh wheels +18
    * Truck is mostly on the pavement about 80-85% of the time, the other 15-20% is going on logging roads, beach driving, driving through snow up here in the PNW.
    * looking at achieving a 3" lift

    Questions:

    1. Do I need reservoirs for the amount of off-road driving I do?

    1a. If I have a rear shock with remote reservoir, should I get the front with a remote reservoir as well? What are my options for a front with remote resi?

    2. Should I add a new rear shackle? If so what size from coachbuilder?

    3. If im going to do this right the first time, I am assuming I should get a new UCA. I was looking at either the Total Chaos or the Camburg. What do you suggest and why?

    4. Do I need to add a CB shim to the driver side for the gangster lean that we have?

    Lifts I have been looking at:

    1. Bilstein 6112 fronts with 5160 rear w/ remote resi (If I go this route what are my options to get the fronts with a remote resi as well?

    2. Fox 2.5 front coils and fox 2.0 rear w/o remote resi

    Any help from you guys is much appreciated. I want to try and get this all done before December as we are expecting another fun year of SNOW in the PNW!!

    Your UCAs are merely preference. They're both great. But consider the Icon with delta joint too.

    More importantly than % off road is how hard do you drive offroad?
    The Toytec lift might suit your needs as well as the others you've listed.
    Plan on a BMC for 35s, relentless makes nice plates for about $20- $25.

    I'm up here in the PNW as well. Looked at exactly the same options for suspension that you have listed to run the same wheel and tire size set up. After talking with the guys at SDHQ I went with the icon stage 3 with their tubular upper control arms and the delta joints. Night and day difference for ride quality and it's incredible so far on every trail I've taken it on so far I couldn't be happier with the setup. Had bilsteins on my last truck and fabtech setups on the 2 trucks before that and personally for my uses I think the icons are hands down better than both. I opted against remote resis cuz it's kinda overkill for my uses I'm not racing in the desert or jumping my truck. Hope this helps a little and good luck with your choice whichever way you end up going u won't be disappointed with any of the options u listed

    Agreed. Can't go wrong with icon UCA with the delta joints

    When I drive offroad I guess you could say I am somewhat conservative with my driving as in I look ahead to see if there are any big potholes or ruts and any big pointy rocks to roll over, if the road is pretty level ill get on it a little bit more.

    No, you don't need reservoirs. That's a lot of oil in the shock to get up to proper operating temperature. Considering your climate, driving style and offroad frequency it's unnecessary. You'll get a better/softer ride just by going to a 35" tire.

    Camburg and TotalChaos both make great products, UCAs. It depends on what you want to go with and your price range.

    The Camburg kit you linked will do you just fine for what you do offroad and the look you want.

    So I think I have everything locked down on what I want minus one part.

    Front:
    * Fox 2.5 coils
    * Camburg or Total Chaos UCA

    Rear:
    * Fox 2.0
    * CB shackles (which size will I need to level the truck off? +2?)

    @Baja Mike - so with a 3in lift, do I need a Front Diff drop? I see some kits come with a front diff drop while others dont.

    I have the 2.5" Fox with reservoirs in the front and back which is way over doing it considering I live in Georgia, but I plan to keep the truck for a long time and I have the income to just buy the best and not having to worry about it in the future. If things were different I would have probably gone with the Fox without reservoirs and probably been happy as well. The Fox I have started out firm, not harsh, but not soft. After a year, I think they have soften a little and are just right.

    I have the CB shackles in the rear and although they are the best shackle out there I'm thinking about changing them. The first reason I have heard the added width of the CB shackles can make mounting a 35" spare an issue. I would research that more if you are going with 35" tires with a matching spare. The second is I'm thinking I should really go with a new spring pack as the last road trip I didn't like how the rear springs were riding. In town it is find, but for some reason on the long trips they were uncomfortable.

    As for UCA, I went with Total Chaos as I heard that some of the other UCA have problems with corrosion on the uni-ball. No one I talked to had anything bad to say about TC.

    On a side note, I went with a 285/75/17 E rated Tire. I like how is rides less squishy then the OEM 20" wheels and tires. I thought about going true 35" but I didn't want to take the change of having to cut into my new truck. I know a lot of guys have been talking about going with 285/70/18 as the slightly smaller dimensions should keep you from cutting.
