Have you seen graveltravel.ca? This site has me wanting to head out east for some backcountry exploration. Well written and good coverage with levels of difficulty.
Maybe see you up north soon. I’m so close to the retirement and am looking forward to long weeks parked along the Ogilvy R with my 10’ Sage and a comfy chair. Soon enough!!

I have seen a similar one. I forget the name off the top of my head, gravel road or gravel routes, something like that. It seemed aimed more at bike riders though. I’ll check that one out.
I’ve kept myself busy though using Gaia to plot tons of waypoints, and tentative routes for my trips, so when I’m ready to start part of the planning is done. Down east, there are some great spots to explore for sure.

That’s the same site. Aimed at dual sport crowd. I admire those guys, hardcore and generally consistently active. The guy does aim route info at 4 wheeler crowd though. No snobbery there. Just
    good clean fun.

They should. To be honest go to GasBuddy. Find the gas station in Inuvik and check prices. There is private fueling stations in Yukon with debit/credit machines only for fuelling. They are frequent enough to eliminate worries of running out.
I phoned one year just to check. Cheaper than running out!

When I get to the stage of knowing I can plan a trip, I will for sure!

Good news, unless the moronic public like taking it up the *** and keep current admin in place.
Fuel prices are down, should make this summer a bit more affordable and enjoyable to go.

Ya it was down as low as 1.10 this week, but went back up to 1.19-1.22 for the long weekend of course!

I’m going to be going east a bunch this year has my build starts this month so my travels will be going down to check in & pay people! I’ll take the $90-110 fillups over the 130-150 ones. :)

Down as low as $1.15/litre? I just got back from Oklahoma/Colorado from work. It's average $3.03/ us gal across the places I saw
with variation. But being on VR Island I haven't had a chance to see where we are at. Waiting to get suspension work done, then
I'll take it for a fill up. Going to be a nice summer for road tripping
