I guess our opinions differ....I don't consider a 12 month old truck with 20,000 miles to be brand-new.

TRD more factory warranty. I'm not experience with lift. I'm just looking at it this way. I now see the suspension on raptor and then see the TRD suspension. Which doesn't look too offroad. These are more road driving anyways.

So maybe pay on this one another year and see what the 2026 refresh looks like? By then, I'll have some positive equity towards the next one. Only thing is, it will be worth less then with more miles on it. Catch 22.

I'll probably wait for 2026 refresh. Also. You might get positive equity at that time.

You sound like you are having a hard time deciding whether to do it or not. If that is giving you pause, then I would say no. The dealership isn't going to lose any money, so whatever they are offering you, they are still asking you to grab your ankles and hold on. Save your money, it's not like your current truck is old with tons of mileage.

im with this guy, no sense in going back upside down on a truck line that’s clearly not holding value. Poor financial decision IMO but do what makes you happy at the end of the day.

Thanks for the input guys. I've decided to keep my current truck and just throw the extra money each month to the principal to pay it down faster.

Good decision. The dealership just wants to sell you a new one so they then turn around and sell your old truck for a profit. I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

same thought as me. Especially if the 2026 gets a face lift or something major changes then you really will get screwed.

Great choice OP. The minimal difference between your current Tundra and the TRD Pro will be unnoticeable relative to starting over on a 72 month term at an additional $128 per month.

This is the way. Add some new wheels and tires to change the look and it will feel like a new truck! With the lift you could shove some 35s on there and really fill the wheel wells and make it look good.

Yea that’s a good looking truck! Don’t get rid of that. You already got the iforce max so only thing you are getting with a pro is the fox suspension, different wheels and some badging. Not worth it!

    Lol, 12 whole months?

The idea for me has always been to keep mine for 8-10 years. I've had it over four years at this point. Still feels like a new truck.

I think you made a good decision to keep what you have.

Good decision!! This is coming from someone that has bought a 22,23,24. The only reason I traded my 23 pro was for the 1794 Limited edition and cut my interest rate in half. For me it was the best of both worlds after the 22 platinum, and I only financed half of the purchase price. And that is a very nice truck you have! your only a few up grades from being better than the pro

Compared to my 2014 I bought new and it has been paid off for 6 years, yes your truck is brand new.
Sure is nice not having a vehicle payment.
Besides that the TRD Pro tailgates are ghey..
    I can't imagine paying $800 a month for a vehicle for 6 years..

    Do what you want.
Don't base your decision on a bunch of strangers that have no idea what your current and future financial situation is..
If you have a spouse, consult it with him/her/he/she/them/they/it..
    YMMV...

From the Tundras.com anti debt queen, absolutely not, especially if you have to put 8K down just to even the negative equity! NO! Keep your current truck and pay it off, and stay out of debt!! Keep your 8K in the bank!
