Some of the most long-lasting, aggressive threads are the 3rd Gen Engine recall ones. But be warned, they are pretty noisy.

Falken atw3 are discontinued. So you would have to go with the atw4. I have always had good luck with the falkens.

Best AT tires for what kind of conditions? Deep snow, mud, rocks - they dictate their own best AT tire.

I have the General Grabbers ATx now. Have been decent for an "on road" All terrain. Taken on a few trips to the desert but will be upgrading soon to something with 3 ply sidewall.

What are you using them for? All on road? some off road? All off road? What type of conditions where you live?

I really liked my Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T --- no complaints other than the weight - it's a heavy tire (also 2 of my 4 didn't balance right)

Why do I need A/T ? Honestly. I probably don’t but I like the looks and I don’t want toget stuck in the snow plus I use a boat ramp and want the traction even though the tires I hav3 now (stock defender tires) have no problems on the ramp , they just didn’t last long ( 30,000 miles and worn down and cracked )
Mainly for snow, looks and long lasting.

You can pick one of: "snow" or "long lasting". Good snow tire has a soft compound that does not last long. If it lasts long, it's an indicator that this is not a good snow tire :)

Agree 100%… I went one size up on my stock platinum to 275/60/r20 and they have been fantastic. (Don’t mind the inevitable winter grime…)

In the wet, with cloud cover at what looks like a hardware store and a parking lot full of trucks. That's a good truck pic and a great looking truck.

    BAAAAAAM!

Goodyear Duratracs. I owned the original Duratracs and loved them. Great in snow and mud and surprisingly quiet (for what they are) on the street. Got 80,000 miles on them too, on a small Tacoma though. They've come out with a less-aggressive looking Duratrac and they look great. I'll bet they are quieter on the street too than the originals. They are probably insanely expensive now, but all tires are...

These are pretty great too. They look boring and cost a fortune, but I don't think I will ever go with anything else now. I live in Wyoming and they are the best tire I've ever owned. I wish they were more exciting to look at, you would think they'd put flames, lightning bolts or some apex predator on the sidewalls for aggressive looks, but what can you do?

When I buy sunglasses. I have to look good in them if they are the best glasses but I look like a fool wearing them I move on to another pair. Gotta look good and gotta be good.
Tires? Same, gotta look good and have to perform good

I had Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10s on my 2014 Tundra. Good tires and got them for a great price at the time, swapped them out around 55,000 miles. Could have probably got 60k out of them.
Were pretty quiet, good in snow/rain, and lasted a long time. Treat not as aggressive but I was driving a lot, mostly onroad.

Replaced those with Toyo AT3s. Will probably put AT3s on my 2024 Tundra when the time comes for tires.
These are fantastic. Slightly louder than the Hankooks but all around a good tire, no complaints. Had about 20,000 miles on them when I traded my truck. No wear issues.

Running 35" BFG ATs on my Jeep in Load Range C. No issues on the Jeep, good ride. Have had BFGs on previous vehicles as well but prefer the Toyos for a truck.

I’ve been pretty impressed so far with my new Falken Wildpeaks A/T4’s. I live in rural Wyoming and they’ve handled everything quite well, including snow.
