13ish around the city and then around 16 on a recent road trip. LT275/65R-20 Nitto Terra Grappler G3 E. I also have sliders, a cover, and a rack, so consider that with the extra weight.

Not a big deal, but makes a huge difference. Waited on these from sparks parts for 2 months, canceled order & had them from Bam in 3 days!! New TRD center caps are a nice improvement. 20241205_185256.jpg

A lot of Toyotas were sold with only 1 key. They put out a “recall” for every owner that only had one and they could come in and get a second one for free.

This is not really the right thread, but I just wanted to say it out loud:

Was at my local dealer for my 5k service today, and they had a black SR5 crewmax with the TRD Rally Pkg, and it was extremely sexy. Wish I waited another 3 months to buy a truck!

2nd key is not free. It was paid for / included in the original purchase of the truck.

Like others have said, 99% of the time, no problem. I wear mine. But, when hooking up trailer, dog in back seat, wife fiddling with whatever in passenger seat for 5 minutes first... We get them on, but the nag factor is just way too high. If it were a normal nag, I'd leave it factory.

Now we need a way to turn off the low washer fluid and ice on sensor nag. I just drove kids car through a blizzard into Ontario. One beep to let me know there was ice on front sensor. My Tundra would have let me know every 30 seconds for the 5 hour drive. That is the level of nag in the Tundra that drives me nuts.

How did you get the center caps off? I just got my new ones in and I'm not sure how to get them off.

Take your wheel off. Grab a screwdriver. Or anything with a blunt end. Hit the back side of the center cap with the handle.

Any recommendations on aftermarket lights? Truthfully been scared to add lights to my rig due to it being the hybrid and wish I was able to test some out before making a choice because the majority are pretty expensive. And I already made some bad purchases due to Fitment inaccuracies because of the hybrid so I don’t feel like wasting money anymore. I’m planning on making some YouTube videos with my experiences. Flowmaster/magnaflow/rough country already stole too much money from me lol Any recommendations would be appreciated

I used a razor blade to get under the cap and get some leverage. It is easy to pop out once the blade gets bite. (Added same caps)

This is not necessary. Easily popped out from outside.

You did, at time of purchase. The second fob just wasn’t available due to the chip shortage. Not sure why they continue this way, though. The Recall was just to inform you that your slot range had come up for distribution and to come get it programmed to your truck.

I used a jewelers screwdriver to get the started, they came off too easily. The new ones fit much much tighter. The wheel would have to come off the get the new ones off I believe as to not damage them.

2 fobs come with the truck purchase. First owner sold it before getting second fob. You bought the truck with one fob and the truck vin slot number came due for the second fob that you got. It may feel like “free”, but you payed for it when you bought the truck…even used.
