    Hello everyone,

Has anyone with a Platinum with AVS/air ride in all 4 corners, replaced their suspension with another brand? If you did, did you get any lights on your dash? Thank you for your help.

Just curious, why would you want to do this? Pulling the system out and replacing it was aftermarket airbags seems like a backwards move and costly.

I didn’t actually replace the air bags, I replaced the front and rear shocks with TRD Pro shocks. Obviously the Fox shocks from the TRD Pro didn’t have the connection that the AVS shocks did, which is why I’m getting a light on the dash, I think.

I know there is other people out there that have done it, I just can’t seem to find any.

AVS and Air Lift are 2 different things

Air Lift adjusts the ride height

AVS adjusts the dampening of the shocks ( slow rebound for comfort or , ride like a Ford rebound )

That’s correct, i still have my load leveling air bags in the rear, I just have Fox shocks. I was looking for a slight lift/level and better suspension.

Still wasn’t able to find an answer on this, per the dealer there isn’t a workaround if you have an air suspension.

I ended up just putting the original suspension back on, will have the TRD Pro/1794 limited edition suspension up for sale soon.
