I have a slight gasoline smell on the passenger side, can't see any leaks. Wonder if I may have the same type of thing happening? I might check the injectors to make sure they're seated all the way.

    Hope everyone has been well!

Ordered a new bike and needed a frameless contact way to haul it. Found some 2.5G billie bars on marketplace with bike mounts. Cut the extrusion down to fit. Guess I'm going back to a cheap roll up bed cover lol.
Don't mind the mess. I've got too many projects going on at the house currently lol.

I saw you posted your bed cover, but that stupid FB group doesn't let me post or reply for some reason. It auto declines everything I type. Anyways if not for spending so much on parts recently, I'd be all over that, because I'm supposed to be meeting Mamba this weekend to give em my old LSD.

New starter is quick and smooth. Glad I went ahead and swapped it out. No return of the gas leak on injector two either. Still have some driveline rumbles. U joints are next on my list

Seem just fine to me. I have a little over 250K on my truck and I can’t remember what brand I used last time. I still have OEM calipers and have not done the upgrade. My pedal and braking seems good to me.

Finally got the camper off. Actually really relieving. Truck is happier. Leaf springs may be old and tired, but I'm glad to see no sag back there. They sprung right back up.

Swapped chrome for black lugs and put the modified center caps back on. Will refinish the caps and add the heritage strips later.

What lug nuts? Interested to hear your experience. I did a lot of searching for black lug nuts that weren't total crap. Didn't come up with much. I bought some anyway. They worked, but hitting them once with the impact wrench was enough to scrape the paint and cause a lot of corrosion after just one winter.

The lugs with a finish on them tend to come with instructions not to use an impact on them. Mine specifically said to use a lug / torque wrench only, no impacts.

Installed another used denso alternator from the sequoia I parted out after finding out the plugs are the same from 03-07 sequoia as 05-06 tundra.

Everything tested good before install but I'm still getting a little movement on the voltmeter. Still need to replace the battery post but I dont have a way to crimp the wire right now.

Steering bellows have been waiting for install too but I've been trying to wait out a move that's still weeks out.

Hard to find them with the faux beadlock, but they still make the 8 hole wheels.

Fit the tundra in my tiny garage today after much reorganizing. Had to take the light bar off the topper to get it in. After the rear lift gets installed the whole topper might need come off to get it back out, But it beats getting snowed on if I get stuck halfway through outside. Un-installed my front diff drop and safety tucked it back up above the skid plate. Made small steps to prepare for the removal, hit everything with wd40 and managed to crack all leaf spring eye bolts loose, greased all zerks, and stuffed 2 stumps under the tow hitch to keep the rear tires suspended. I’m not trusting harbor freight jack stands on this unlevel dirt floor. Parked it in 4hi and chalked the front tires. Realized we don’t have a locking center diff? I can spin the back tire and the other tire rotates the opposite direction.

set up the 5160’s how Bilstein recommended.

You're able to rotate the other rear tire? That's normal. If our trucks had a locking rear diff, then you wouldn't be able to spin both.

A center diff would allow the front and rear driveshafts to spin at different speeds. There isn't a center diff at all in our trucks, so anytime the transfer case is in 4WD, both the front and rear driveshafts are locked together and rotate at the same speeds.

You don't fill it up, run it for 30 minutes at 3K RPM, then flush it, and add new oil? How else are you supposed to get it SUPER CLEAN?

I tend to buy enough for 2 changes in advance if 5qt. In this case, Walmart free ship limit is $35, which meant I had to buy two anyway, and at that point, if shipping is free, may as well add the 3rd so you can get another change out of it. Then the time after, I'll buy 5qt locally and use what's left in the 3rd bottle. But this is more of a "wanna test it out", and I think 2 OC is more reliable test than 1 OC.
