I tested it to lower static pressure upstream of the TB.

There was some of us talking about this back in 2017 on TT and offline. But it was a bit pricey. I still had it bookmarked on my old computer.

If that price on their website is listed in Australian dollars and gets converted to USD after payment (64%) I would totally consider that and just keep the 2000 (Australian dollar) transmission core and sell locally, or keep it. Even keeping the core would be around 6000USD if the list price is in AUS$. What does shipping to the US cost is what I wonder. May have to inquire with them. It would be nice to know all options ahead of the trans blowing.

Man...I've been down the rabbit hole this week. Oil cooler installation this weekend led to me needing to drain the coolant to remove the stock oil cooler lines. Since I had the coolant drained, I decided to install a thermo switch for my electric radiator fan project. The fan necessitated another circuit, another relay, another fuse, more taps...and I was out of threads on my positive terminal post, and I also did not want to add another IGN tap.

I reconfigured my electrical setup from individual relays all over the place and taps everywhere to a relay/fuse block and plugs for all the connections. I have a dedicated relay for the IGN tap, and it provides power for all the items that trigger from IGN.

1 - IGN Tap (serves as trigger for FP1, ICP, Passenger Fuse Block)(serves as power for Thermo and Hobbs switches)
2 - Primary Fuel Pump (IGN)
3 - Secondary Fuel Pump (Hobbs Switch)
    4 - Intercooler Pump (IGN)
5 - Electric Fan (Thermo Switch/AC tap with diode)

    Before
    upload_2024-12-4_10-54-53.jpg

After (I still need to terminate power/grounds but it's raining)
    upload_2024-12-4_10-56-41.jpg

    Underside wiring
    upload_2024-12-4_10-57-34.jpg

Wires clear the brake lines under the relay box, nothing touching, no rubbing, all wire bundles zip-tied every 6 inches or so.

I was going to ask this yesterday as my relay situation is pathetic! This is great. Awesome and nicely done!

Thanks! Mine was bothering me and I was adding a solid 3-4Amps to the IGN circuit in relays alone. I would recommend making the plug leads longer, I had to play operation with two pairs of hose pliers to connect my fuel pump. I am waiting on more deutsch pins and 10ga wiring, then I'll pull it back out and extend those connections and paint that angle bracket.

I have a fuse block on top of the fuse box to trigger the relays. My issue is I have 6 relays bolted on the fender. Looks like hack job. No fore sight.

That snapshot from PayPal was the total price but not sure how shipping is calculated and added in. Probably have to call and get clarification in case the shipping is billed afterward, don’t want any surprises. Their listed price on the website says includes goods and services tax in the price. It must also be shipped to a business that can unload the pallet from a truck. No other mention of other duties or taxes.

That’s what’s I’d be afraid of. How the heck do we find out? Based on this, maybe he went with IPT?

Oh yeah! The trans is rock solid. The tune is a work in progress but I think we are 95% there. So smooth when driving light. So quick when driving aggressive

Who else is running this belt?
Dayco 5081145 Poly Rib Serpentine Belt

I've had it on since MAR of this year... approx 7k miles. Now that it's cold in MD, she squeaks so bad. I notice at idle. GOes away once warmed up for the most part. Annoying as all get out. Contemplating buying a new belt to get rid of the noise but hate to buy a new belt every 6-9 months.

hmm ok. mine started in the last 500-700 miles so maybe it's just a 6k mile belt...
buying a new one and seeing if it goes away. if I spray the belt with water it quiets down right away. comes back in 45 seconds once it's dry again... but you get the point. all pulleys seem in good shape.

weird that it wore out that quick. hopefully it's a fluke. I do wish there was a size between the stock 2650 belt and this one. It's a little too tight for my liking with the 76mm pulley.

little too tight, holy balls, it's way too tight lol. Such a fight to get it on and off. Feel like the tensioner is maxed out. But that extra tension might wear out the belt faster? Not sure
