You could also get bed stiffeners for that area to strengthen your bed as well as have more tie down points.

 

I was considering PPF or regular coats of Aerospace 303. The last thing I want is sun-damaged lenses in a few years.

Yeah I had to warranty a set of Gen 1's because the lenses were getting pretty bad after a year and a half. I have PPF on the Gen 2's.

 

Plugged a hole today. I had a hard time getting a hold of the piece of metal. It wasn’t a nail or a screw. Just a small piece of a rod/wire. All is good now.

 

Look into RAS. Can be a much better alternative to air bags, depending on how you use your truck. Will certainly ride better unloaded than air bags or AAL.

 

Bunch parts arriving. Now to send the gears out for treating, rem/polish etc

They are. Carry-on trailers similar specs are a few hundred less. I chose this one because the rails can be moved out of the way and be loaded by forklift or I can take everything off and have a flatbed hauler for a side by side

Finally finished up the maxx fan install. A $20 Craigslist score, it's V1 and not the cool reversible one. Went about as smooth as I expected, took longer than I thought so I'll have to finish sealing it in the morning when I can see what I'm doing.

A little AJT design parts to near complete of de-chrome.


Rear USB 3.0 charger plug. Found the stl file on thingiverse and 3D print the plate. Direct plug in. This way i dont have to hack up the factory piece.


also added the RAS.

 

If you decide to remove the rear sway now that you have the RAS, this is the part number for the bolt that goes into the frame in case you don't have your stock bolts.

Is there any benefit to remove or keep the rear sway bar? Im curious.

 

I removed my sway when I put the RAS on, so I can't speak to how running both together would be.

But I definitely feel like my truck rides better now that the left and right can act independently. I'm loving the RAS and hope you enjoy it.
