If you're going to do intermittent fasting, I'd recommend NOT skipping breakfast...

Instead try to just significantly shorten the timeframe throughout the day that you eat and taper down (quantity of food) toward the end

IE>> Use an 8-hr window to eat; 4 smaller(ish) meals every 2 hrs or 3 meals every 3hrs; then fast 16 hours; repeat...

Also, try to consume a protein source containing 'casein' during the last meal; it's a protein that is slowly assimilated and therefore helps you feel a little 'fuller' during your fasting period and provides protein to your body late in the game!!!

The fasting approach works better for some folks; mainly because if they simply eat quality food over a short duration it's much harder to eat an excessive amount of calories...

But, it also helps some control sugar and other blood related levels especially as we begin to age. Another benefit is that typcially after about 12 hours most 'readily accessible calories in the blood stream have been converted for fuel or storage', so the body is generally getting at least 4 hours (during the end of the 'fast') to tap into stored fuel sources each day; which helps w/metabolism and allows a bit of a 'reset' each day in the blood stream...

24 hour dry fast.

Break the fast with as much butter fried sirloin, seasoned with nothing but REAL salt, as you want (I can crush two pretty readily)

When hungry stick to the BBB&E stuff. If that doesn't "sound good" then you aren't really hungry. Don't eat.
