Also flipped the turkey so it can get tan on the other side, and then the breasts are down, with the hot juice running down to the breasts now.

I broke a tooth, and will have to limit the whiskey over the holiday because of the meds I have to take.

Getting a tooth extracted sucks, and so does getting an implant. Bunch of yuck today.

On the positive side, I have relatively high tolerance for pain, so some ibuprofen is doing the trick.

All this talk of BBQ the last few days had me head straight to one when I got to Denver this afternoon. Hogback in Littleton. It was pretty good but nothing to write home about. I had the brisket, kids had pork and pulled chicken, and wife had ribs. Ribs were the best of everything.

 

Vacuum sealed the turkey. Ready for later this week. I’m still learning how to use this sealer but I figured it would help keep it moist.
