What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I've just got my OEM rims at the tire shop and they're installing a set of studded Nokian Hakkas for the winter. Cannot wait, the BFG KO2s are a lot sketchy on ice, which is the main issue around here.

 

I have them on my Barccelona. Get PPF put on them.

 

Got these wheels sandblasted by a company near me. Then I primed and painted them over this past weekend. Gotta wait a bit then gonna add some more coats of paint. I missed several spots and the temps are getting lower so paint is taking forever to cure hopefully this weekend i'll be able to get some more paint down

 

You need a Stillen. The TRD is just a cosmetic appearance mod.

Installed a Dasaita Vivid 13 head unit. Hope it does well. Love the look and sound over the stock unit.

 

I'm not going to tell you what you "need" after you spent $$ on the TRD intake, which I have as well. BUT, if you like that intake noise, look into the SABM...

Slight change of plans. I decided to keep one of the cig lighters so I could use it for my compressor so installed this usb-c adapter in the slot that had the factory usb/aux.

Color matched grille and hood bulge. Next i will be paint matching the chrome bumper caps. Waited a long time for this it feels like. Scored a good deal on an eBay grill and hood bulge

 

I did this a year ago or so and thought about getting paint protective film for both pieces but then figured out a new grill and bulge cost about the same as getting the film lol

 

Every time I priced out a color matched grill and bumper caps it was around $750 whether I do “bumper shellz” or ecological color match covers or adhesive overlays. I was able to find an eBay listing of aftermarket color matched grill and hood bulge for $275 not including the front T emblem so I jumped on it. Currently trying to sell the previous grille and bulge too. Very inexpensive & I’m going to
paint the chrome bumper caps which was only about $65 with good color match paint and clear coat

 

what exactly does that stuff do ?

 

It's for rust protection, you spray it onto the underbody and inside body panels. Other similar products include FluidFilm, WoolWax, NHoil, Krown, SurfaceShield, etc. I feel like I'm missing a few others I've heard of I just can't recall at the moment.

 

Protects it from rusting. I spray mine every fall.

thats what I kinda figured that it was kinda the same as fluid film but thanks for clarifying. I know someone posted something on here years ago about a product called RBP do you know anything about that ? I believe it was posted because the member had a PROCOMP lift and some of the parts were rusting on it (surface rust ) and he said to spray it to get rid of it. do you know anything about that ? I have the same problem with my PROCOMP parts
