Any highly recommended spring/shock upgrades out there. 22’ capstone with 3” lift at purchase. Looking for a softer ,smoother ride

Check the link above, will have anything you want to know about 3rd get setups.

Are tires stock or have they been "upgraded" along with that 3 inch lift? If they are anything other than SL standard load tires, they will ride firmer than stock And sounds like you have some sort of spacer lift? = harsher ride. Lastly check your tire pressure, too high of pressure will make it ride harder as well.

If you want the best ride on that model, remove that lift and run stock standard load tires. It will ride as smooth as it can, being a half ton truck.

Spacer came with it man, looking for help. If I have to remove them I will but was hoping for some alternatives, as I do like the height of the ride. If I can’t have the best of both worlds then it is what it is .

take a photo shot of what you have and the tire specs and Im sure some us can help out.

make sure to check your load spec on the tires, especially with 22" wheels.

    does it have AVS?

A progressive shock not a digressive, if you want a smooth ride on the road.

That truck should have AVS on it. Switch it to Comfort Mode

have to wonder what they did to the rear air system then, riding on 22"s especially if not P rated.

    pics will be interesting

Would the lift spacers mess with the vehicles ability to sense and or change to comfort setting ? @Hella Krusty . I can go from sport to eco, regular.

AVS is the shocks so if the lift people tore out the stock shocks, you have lost AVS

Not quite sure, that seems like a strange adjustment to make if they came with the truck originally just for a few inches of lift. From the videos I watched on line it appears there are switches in the dash below the nav screen that mine is missing.

That's the Westscott collar lift so it's likely you still have the oem shock and spring. I guess it's rough because your spring is already compressed.

I thought AVS was standard on capstone , is it not?

op photo of the rear and tires size and specs

Are you getting too much “axle hop “ in the rear or too much bump in the front or what is specifically going on

going back to stock and getting p rated tires no larger than 20” wheels would be best for soft on road ride , but let’s see what your working with

I heard that when you put it in Tow+ and boost on you no longer care.
