Just picked it up last night. Excited to learn from you all and enjoy this beautiful truck!

 

I would probably use zinc yellow chromate coated steel ones. Stainless steel ones are harder to pull and aluminum ones are not as strong. No idea on thread size or grip range that you would need

BTW in the spirt of this thread I just got my truck sprayed yesterday with woolwax

 

It's beautiful, leave it stock, just upgrade sounds system and you'll be happy

Someone long ago described thinking of resale on vehicles as not banging your GF to keep it tight for the next guy. I'd rather enjoy my vehicles as I would want them to be, not for the next guy, but hey, that's just for me.

 

haha...love this. Plus, and I know this depends on the dealer, I put suspension, a different sound system, sliders, and a front bumper on my then-new 2021 tacoma pro and -5 months ago- they gave me precisely what I paid for it. I know I lost money because I sold it with the gear, but it didn't devalue the truck any.

I just put an RCI skid plate on. Nothing exciting.

 

Not op but an Ac/heater in the garage was one of the best decision ive made. My wife works from home and uses our garage for her business so no more sweat session for us. I think I paid $2660 with a friends and family discount for a 1.5ton unit.

Does it have dual climate controls for front/rear now?

Yes! Its great! Central A/C & heat, it was a must when I built the garage. I even built a bar in it.

 

I don't care about the A/C in your garage show us what's under the car cover. I love old schools and sports cars. Unless its a Challenger. I'm a Corvette guy. Just kidding about the Challenger. American muscle is American muscle. Even if its a Dodge.

I have serious garage envy right now. I do have radiant heat in my garage though!

Nice truck! Curious to see how some folks build their mud bath color trucks.

The racks seem to be the new fad these days. Similar to when folks were putting big ass light bars over their windshield. Is it worth the added weight/drag/reduced mpg for these things? They are trucks with big beds where a bunch of stuff can be stored for off road trips.

New shoes. Icon rebounds with bfg ko3 285 65r20. Had some rub but deleted the mud flaps and pinned the felt back and good to go

I don't want to pay rave $$$ for wire harnes ( its on backorder anyway) so I made my own for $45 total ( includes glue gun heat sticks (
